This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our guides were very informative and good humoured, and did everything to make our trip memorable. The transport was high quality and very comfortable. The two chosen wineries are small family businesses and the guides were funny and informative as we got to taste several wines and ports. The cruise on the river with wine and nibbles was lovely. The highlight of the tour was the lunch. A superb 3 course, home cooked, meal that was delicious. Extra servings kept coming and the wine flowed generously. The added entertainment was excellent as was the magnificent view over the Douro and hills beyond.
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. It is a bit more expensive than some other tours but worth every penny due to the quality and small group experience.

Amazing sailboat cruise! Although it was raining, it was the highlight of our trip to Porto. We had a private tour as there was only our family of four. How different to see Porto from the water, it was quiet, charming and we understood its magic. Captain and crew were perfect hosts. We loved every minute!

We had a truly wonderful experience with Ricardo and Francesco on our last night in Porto. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and took a private trip. It was so beautiful and we were lucky to see an amazing sunset which was the icing on the cake for a fantastic evening on board. We had great fun and the crew were amazing. Ricardo went above and beyond to help and showed us truly amazing Porto hospitality which we will never forget. He will forever be my hero for helping a 'damsel in distress' at the end of the trip. Nothing boat related but a genuinely good deed. Thank you Ricardo you made our night!

It was very well organized. Received emails constantly to inform us where and when to meet. We were served a cocktail and a shot of port wine on board. We were provided a blanket too. The sunset was very beautiful and sailing was very smooth. I love it was only 8 of us. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I Highly recommended this sunset Douro river cruise.

The sailboat cruise was good, but the young sailors just would not stop talking to me. I know they were trying to be friendly and to ensure I had a nice time (I was there solo) but they would not take a hint. I wanted to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, not be forced to make small talk with 22 year olds for an hour. As an introvert I left the sailboat ride kind of mentally exhausted 😂

Such a memorable experience - Claudio and Piedro made such a smooth running team. So grateful we could go a little out to sea. It was amazing to feel the power of the Atlantic … and then the release of the main sail. Delicious. Loved the story telling and refreshments nibbles. All Perfect. Absolute joy! 👌🇦🇺🇵🇹🤗

What a great way to spend the evening. Our group of 8 were all family. So we loved having the sail to ourselves. Wonderful to get out to the Ocean for sunset. We had lovely cocktails and Port with a few snacks. Hoped to see Dolphin on our trip, but we’re not lucky in that regard. Got a great referral to a seafood restaurant we’re would pass on our walk back to Gaia, that cooked our fish choices on the grill in front of the restaurant. The staff and food were amazing! Definitely a good choice to book this tour!

Het was een geweldige ervaring, echt boven verwachting leuk! De bemanning deed er alles aan om onze trip zo leuk en comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Ik kan het aan iedereen aanraden. De vijf sterren zijn eigenlijk niet genoeg om uit te drukken hoe fantastisch dit was! Supercrew die enthousiast en zorgzaam zijn en de beleving op zich was ook geweldig!

After a trip up the Douro with insider tips and interesting explanations, we stopped for a photo. There is really a lot to see...
.. and something to drink too ;-)
The highlight for me was the fantastic sunset over the Atlantic.
Tip: it's better to use Uber or a taxi from Porto. The buses are often not on time due to the high volume of traffic.
