Ivana was a wonderful guide filled with historical stories that brought the tour to life! She even walked us to a nearby restaurant and got us a table. What a nice experience in a foreign city.

Francesca was difficult to understand on the radio, her accent was very strong and she went on and on about stuff that we could of read in history book. We ended up leaving her and going on our own

We had the most amazing time with Joy as our guide. She gave us a history lesson like no other and the private tour was the way to go to beat the lines.

We entered and exited every gate for the same view of the colosseum.. Tiring and too long. The garden we visited next was great. But by then we were too tired.
A better option is to cut the time in colosseum and give the tickets to people if they want to go back after the tour.

Best tour of the trip! Paolo was engaged, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. I especially appreciate how he interacted with my 8 year old child, including her in the tour and making her feel appreciated and excited to learn. Highly recommend!

Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Foto Romano are a must see. These sites are best seen with a tour guide as they know the short cuts and best viewing places. And, there is no waiting in line to get in. Great tour guide with great knowledge of history and explained well. I highly recommend this tour.
