Meet your local guide for the day and board on the coach to depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Drive. Upon arrival, first quick stop will be to one of the most prestigious cameo and coral factories in the region to see the production of typical Italian carvings. We booked the tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius with Sunland and I really can't recommend them highly enough! Pick up instructions were very clear with a photograph of the pick up point. Our tour guide Alessandra was absolutely fantastic, during the drive to Pompeii she told us the story about Pompeii and we felt it was almost as if she had been there when the catastrophe occured! She was so knowledgeable, we couldnt have asked for anyone better to guide us. Sh showed us many interesting features in the time we were in Pompeii.
Before booking the trip we were going to make our own way to Pompeii which would have included, ferries, buses and a train, so glad we didnt.
If you want to go to Pompeii and Vesuvius please book with Sunland. We were staying in Minori.

Our tour guide was fantastic. She gave lots of information about Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast and answered all our questions. She took us to some very fascinating sites and altered the tour to best suit our group. It was a very hot day but our guide did her best to keep us in the shade or undercover as best she could. I was worried we would feel like we missed stuff (only being a half day tour) but she showed us a bit of everything and due to the heat, a half day tour was plenty enough. Pick up and drop off was simple, as was getting in to Pompeii. Our bus driver was also great. Highly recommend if you are staying on the Amalfi Coast.

We had the best day in Pompei with our guide Alessandra (and not to forget the calm driver Claudio!) She was very sweet and gave us lots of information during the bus ride and of course on the archeological site. Best guide ever!!!! Pick up in Amalfi was prompt and on time. Don’t hesitate to book one of these tours, you won’t regnet it!

We had an excellent trip to Pompeii! Picked up promptly exactly where we were advised to go. Our guide Alessandra was fabulous. On the ride over she chatted to us and told us some local knowledge.
Pompeii was beautiful and so interesting. Amazing to see. Alessandra knew all the best spots to give us a breadth of knowledge and let us see a lot in the time we had. We were given headsets which made it so easy to hear her. Alessandra knew so much about Pompeii, I’m so glad we got a guided tour as we learned so much!
Would highly recommend this tour!

We were probably the two oldest couples in our “small group”. Our guide Lucia seemed not to notice or care that two of us needed walking sticks to get around. Pompeii is a difficult walking tour but Lucia made no concessions for our lack of speed. At one point when my husband felt faint, we asked her if we could leave the tour. Her reply was that it was too complicated for us to manage and we had to stay on the tour for another 15 minutes of walking on a very hot day before she would point us in the right direction. Almost everyone in our tour was assisting my husband to navigate the steps and cobble stones. Lucia could not be bothered. I can’t say anything about the tour itself because I was so focused on getting my husband through it. At one point Lucia said “the tour is for everyone” meaning she wouldn’t slow down for anyone.

Wonderful tour from Amalfi! Comfortable bus ride to Pompeii, great informational tour, and delicious lunch. We went with children and they enjoyed it as well. Highly recommend!

Our guide was extremely welcoming, informative and friendly. Sharing lots of stories and information about Pompei keeping us thoroughly engaged. Little inclusions such timings of activities, toilet breaks, if we get separated from the group given the expansive location etc were all very helpful.
This day trip offers great value and we would definitely recommend to others.

Well organised tour. Pick up was easy and right on time. Our guide was affable and knowledgeable and navigated us through the vast exhibits of the city of Pompeii. Our bus driver managed to keep us safe on the winding narrow roads and we were very comfortable in our journey.
