Thành was our guide and we could not have been happier with him or the experience he led us on. It started with a quick taxi ride to the deeper parts of the city - where the locals live - and from there we walked to several local eating spots - some on the street and some inside buildings - where we ate everything from Bahn Mis to sticky rice with banana. We ended the tour with this amazing coconut ice cream with avocado sauce which sounded bizarre but was so good and refreshing. All in all we had so much fun and enjoyed every moment with our guide.

We thought we were too old for a scooter tour (I'm 80), but getting to know Vietnamese cuisine tempted us to embark on this adventure. And we got our money's worth. The two guys, Than and Long, performed perfectly, were entertaining and drove through Saigon's nighttime traffic with experience and absolute safety. The dining experience was full of positive surprises. Without the two of them, we would never have had this wealth of taste experiences. The 4 hours flew by in a flash. Thank you Than and Long for this unforgettable experience.

Great tour guide! He has alot of knowledge about the food & area. Very considerate about allergies and preferences. We got picked up by taxi and brought back to the hotel afterwards.

Epic, Tom our tour guide was great, friendly, welcoming and fun. We took our two year old and she loved it. Tom made sure we had an ice cream stop for her and arranged ice to cool her down when she got hot in the heat.
Great trip- do it! Hands down the best way to actually see Ho Chi Minh

Excellent tour. Shane was a wonderful guide. We ate a variety of delicious food and saw great sights across the city. Great to see places that weren't touristy and some local nightlife.

Had an amazing time with Johnny. It started to rain but we had zigzagged through the traffic (very safely, I might add) and had a blast talking about Saigon’s culture and eating some really great food! 5 stars for sure to Johnny. Highly recommended :)

What an amazing experience! Such great food, and a superb guide. Our guide Long speaks really great English, something not so common here. He is very laid back and jokes a lot. We really enjoyed being in his company and trying all the great food here. This was A LOT more tasty than the food in Bangkok (where we did a similar food tour). I'm pretty picky when it comes to food, but this was great. I would like to eat several of those dishes again, and I even wrote down the names of the dishes to not risk forgetting them. :)
Try the food tour and ask for Long; you will not regret it.

What a lovely night I had with Tina showing me the back alleys, and various foods on offer. Not only food, she educated me on Vietnamese history. Great tour. Was lovely to spend a couple of hours with her. I wish her well.

Pick up was prompt and Adam was a good tour guide who knows his food. We are older so requested the taxi pick up that took us to the start of our walk around the market place at night. It is an easy but long walk from stop to stop, taking back alleys and market streets that added to the experience. The city is alive at 7 pm! We have knee issues which is why we couldn’t do this on the scooter… I think it’s the same (or similar) spots you visit when you take the scooter tour, because we kept encountering other travelers with their scooter guides while we walked from spot to spot. This was reassuring though! Seeing many different tour groups out enjoying food at these food stalls gave us the needed umph to try them ourselves. Anyway all the foods were tasted, and they were all very good! The Bahn mi was left for last and that was a good thing because we had it “to go”, we were so full. Overall we had a great time, Adam was very considerate of our slow pace and we had enough time between stops to muster a bit more hunger to keep eating all the delicious foods. You must try it all too!
