Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (4 Day)

I had the amazing opportunity to do the Inca Trail 4D/3N with Happy Gringo Tours! Our guide, Robert, was fantastic—lively, patient, and always eager to provide all the relevant information. The hike was challenging, and I had many doubts, but Robert's guidance made it all manageable. The trail itself is incredible, with stunning landscapes and numerous archaeological sites. My favorite was the Sun Gate (Inti Punku). Although I heard complaints about it being crowded, we didn't see many people on the trail. The city was crowded, but it's totally worth it. A unique memory, thanks to the entire Happy Gringo Tours team!

Traveling the Inca Trail with happy gringo was an incredibly amazing experience. Though the route was difficult, guides Ruben and Jorge were constantly there to encourage and support us, especially when we fell behind. Marco added to the enjoyment of the hike with his interesting anecdotes and perceptive explanations of the sites. Cosmo Expeditions comes highly recommended from us for this amazing journey.

Happy gringo tours offered a first-rate Inca Trail experience. Although the course itself was difficult, Ruben and Jorge's upbeat demeanor and unwavering support made it doable. They were always there for us, encouraging us no end. Marco added even more memories to the trip with his thorough narratives and descriptions of the sites we viewed. One really amazing journey!

I had an incredible Inca Trail experience with my wife and Happy gringo tours. Though difficult, our guides Jorge and Ruben were really encouraging and encouraging the entire way. Even as we slipped behind, they never stopped checking in on us. Marco enhanced the whole trip by sharing the meaning of the amazing places we saw with his engrossing storytelling and extensive knowledge. Recommended very much!

The tour we had was magnificent from start to finish. The food, the porters, the tour guide and the cook were very impressive on our 4-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu expedition.

We found our time so well catered for and spent on the whole trip! From beginning to end everything was well organised and incredibly friendly/informative. I would absolutely recommend!!

This is such an amazing expedition, and I think I can reminisce about it forever because it engages our souls and bodies so deeply to complete it.

The Inca trail itself is challenging as there is no shower, toilet, or soft bed and we have to walk until exhaustion most the days; but at the same time, being off the grid and conquering the mountains brings that long-lost mental peace, unsophisticated bonding between humans, and a hard-earned sense of achievement under this wild setting.

In addition, I can’t refrain from expressing how fortunate I was to be with the BEST Happy Gringo group led by Marko and Ruben. They made our team a family at the end of Day 4 with their warmth, patience, and little humor.

Marko has very intriguing speech skills with which he depicted Incan culture with incredible details, and he can expand on anything you ask about the Incans. We can sense his passion for the Incan culture and nature which stimulates us to appreciate the very journey we were undergoing.

Ruben is amazing because he took care of members who are slow walkers and that patient/loyal companion is indispensable during such an intense journey.

Both tour guides poured their hearts out to make the trip as seamless as possible for us. Organizing a crew of hikers who are strangers to each other, monitoring the schedules, caring for people who had a glitch, and giving useful Incan insights are not easy tasks.

I am so grateful for their amazing work and would recommend them and the trail to anyone who wishes to add another splendid memory to their life in Peru!.

For four epic days, we followed ancient footsteps, laughed until our bellies hurt, and gawked at scenery so stunning, our cameras went on strike from overuse. The guides? Oh, they’re not just guides; they're encyclopedias on legs, history buffs with a knack for storytelling, and part-time comedians! Happy Gringo nailed it - this is how you do Machu Picchu, folks. Starting out on the Inca Trail was an amazing journey full of amazing moments. Under Marco's amazing leadership, the trip turned into an exciting story. We became closer because of the lush woods, roaring waterfalls, and difficult climbs. The Andes showed how grand they were as we crossed Dead Woman's Pass.

By the third day, the cloud forests were whispering old secrets, and Machu Picchu was making fun from afar. When people went through the Sun Gate at dawn, they saw Machu Picchu, a mysterious city in the mist. With Marco's help, the ruins came to life, and each stone told the story of an Inca genius.

When we finally said goodbye, we held not only memories but also a deep connection to the past. The Inca Trail wasn't just a walk; it was a trip through time that changed our lives and left a mark that we will never forget. I would definitely use Happy Gringo Tours in my future adventures in Peru.
