We begin at historic Pearl Harbor where you will experience firsthand the earth-shattering events that catapulted the U.S. into World War II. Join us at the USS Arizona Memorial, a deeply moving and emotional experience where you will learn about the 1,177 seamen who perished when their battleship was sunk during the December 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. You’ll witness the attack in a 23-minute documentary and then cross the harbor to the Memorial in a Navy vessel. At the Memorial, pay your respects to the heroes whose names are etched in marble in the Shrine Room. Look into the water and note the oil droplets – “The Black Tears of the Arizona” – that continue to escape the sunken battleship and rise to the harbor surface. Back at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, there will be time to visit the WWII museum exhibits and the bookshop.

Next, we stop at Dole Plantation dedicated to Hawaii’s pineapple growing history. Shop for souvenirs at the Plantation Store and even taste a delicious frozen Dole Whip treat. As we head to Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore, we’ll pass by famous surfing beaches like Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach, where the world’s best surfers test their skills at championship tournaments in November and December.

Johnny Aloha was one of the best tour guides I have ever had the pleasure of being on tour with. He shared all the little tricks of the trade, educated us along the way and was very accommodating. We now know how to pronounce the words in Hawaiian thanks to him. He is also very entertaining and knowledgeable. He did things outside of the box to make our adventure more fun than we had expected. I highly recommend this company as well as Johnny Aloha as a specific tour guide! We will certainly be back and will request Johnny in the future!

Had a great time. Got to see a lot of local places around the island of Oahu that we would have missed otherwise. Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation and the Cultural Center were all must do's for us on the Island so the tour was a no brainer. They also threw in a local shrimp spot for lunch and the macadamia nut spot, both were great. My only downside was I thought the day included a luau. My fault for not asking before booking. When I searched for tours for luau this one popped up, but it actually did not include one. Other than that, I would recommend for anyone who wants to see many different places on Oahu. And of course, all the interesting information from the tour guides on the ride was an amazing way to pass the time and teach all about Hawaiian culture and history. Family very much enjoyed ourselves.

We had an excellent tour guide. Wish we could have spent a little bit more time at the Polynesian Cultural Center. But we did cover a lot. No wasted time. Enjoyed every minute of it.

We had a great time and Rick was fantastic! However, this tour was not what we expected it to be when booking. There were many extra stops which was great to see the island! However, when booking this we were looking for a tour with fewer stops than the rest of the full circle tours given we travelled with young children. It may be worth updating the itinerary on Viator to reflect the day out provided. Again, was a great time however not what promoted to be.
