Was here for the very first time June 2024. Very emotional but beautiful memorial. Really enjoyed it, only complaint is that I wish we would’ve had a bit longer at the Arizona site.

I would recommend everyone go and visit Pearl Harbour, it is a moving experience, especially see the USS Arizona memorial, and knowing that the names on the remembrance wall are still within the wreck of the ship. Even walking around the USS Bowfin and the USS Missouri and understanding the part they played in history is worth the visit.
I would recommend walking sturdy shoes or trainers as they is plenty to see. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you to the USS Missouri and the aviation museum, and it is every 15 mins, and in all locations, it is in shade if you do have to wait.
The only criticism I have is the food from the main food court, which wasn't that great. I had the chicken tenders, and they were dry and chewy. Also, the company I booked with was abysmal. They gave me a pick-up time, which I was early for (that is just me though) and they were almost 30 mins late for!! The vehicle and driver they sent dropped us off at the front gate and explained there that this was a self guided tour and that they were off to the airport to do another job! Which frankly isn't appropriate. It got worse as on the way back to the hotel drop offs, the air con packed in and the automatic door release both broke at separate times, even though the driver explained to the company that the vehicle wasn't up to the job, the company didn't seem to care.

Pearl harbour is fanatic however the company that look after us wasn’t. Aloha sunshine was 40 mins late from the time we were given. They literally drops us off, gave us our tickets, gave us a pick up time and sent us on a self-guided tour. The bus itself had a lot of torn seating and was doing additional jobs whilst we were at Pearl Harbour. The page needs to state that it is self- guided. Pearl harbour was amazing, and spent all day exploring what our allied nation did, their challenges and it was an honour to be able to show our respect to our allies forces.

Best part was the organization of the tour and the guide. The guide learned everyone’s name and dropped us off at our individual hotels when possible. She gave us tips on how to get the most out of the experience. We started at the Arizona, then went in to the Missouri, Aviation Museum and Bowfin. It was arranged to minimize crowds and being out in the heat. The most interesting was the Missouri (I had previously seen the Arizona, which I consider a must-see. The museums were ok and some offered a welcome respite from the heat. The movie with live footage of the December 7 attack was really good.

Our driver/tour operator was excellent. Very informative about Pearl Harbor and gave us an insight on her Hawaiian culture which was interesting. Pearl Harbor never misses its something everyone should experience at least once. I recommend the whole day tour so you can get to see everything makes no sense just going to the Arizona memorial.

Jorge was an amazing guide. He gave us the best way to see everything at Pearl Harbor. He was very knowledgeable and shared a ton of history with us. We were able to see everything with time to spare. Great experience!

The shuttle driver arrived 45 minutes late to pick us up at our hotel. We called their office three times and were told she’d “Be there soon” each time. The office should have reached out to us to inform us of her late arrival and APOLOGIZE, but this never happened. This delay reduced the amount of time we had in the memorial for the day, and we didn’t get to see it all. The memorial itself was amazing. I just wish that we would have driven there ourselves rather than pay for this tour.
