We approached Doctor Dive to ask what activities we could do in Mahahual and we found a great team. Lucía advised us from the first moment and encouraged us to try diving (first time and we loved it). The explanation that Lucas gave us before we got into the water was great, and how well Cesar treated us and guided us during our experience. A special mention to Ale, who was lovely to us. Without a doubt we would repeat it a thousand times more. Thanks for everything!

I had a great experience! I was at Dr Dive for SSI certification. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Charlie set everything up and was really easy to communicate with. Cesar took me on the first dive. I felt safe with him and learned a lot. He pointed out interesting stuff and kept everything under control. Tony was my main instructor - this is the guy you want to learn to dive from. Competent, friendly, patient, efficient. Amber helped a lot too. I’m grateful for great boat drivers too. I enjoyed everything and really thank you all!
Most importantly, the dives at Mahahual are so cool. So much beauty! The water is warm & clear. We saw LOTS of life - turtle, ray, lobster, so many gorgeous fish. This is an awesome place to get certified!

incredible introduction to diving. A big thank you to the entire Doctor Dive team for this experience, more particularly to Tony, our Open Water instructor, very patient, kind, human but above all professional.
I highly recommend if you stay 3-4 days to dive.

Had a great time!! Lucas was our instructor. I was super nervous but he made it great! He pointed out lots of fish and interesting coral for me to look at. Didn’t try to rush me and only continued when I felt comfortable! Thanks!

My husband and I, and our two sons (ages 18 and 15) really enjoyed our experience with Tony and the others from Doctor Dive. I had booked our dive as an excursion during a stop of our cruise, and the staff at Doctor Dive were gracious enough to reschedule for us when our cruise switched which day we'd be there at the last minute. They also respected our scheduled time frame so we didn't have to worry about getting back to the ship late. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They made us feel safe the whole time. The pictures and video that we paid extra for were excellent too. To top it all off, I even overheard my 18 year old tell a relative that it was probably the coolest thing he's ever done!

Fantastic experience with Lucas at Doctor Dive Costa Maya. We did the discovery experience. We did a 55 minute dive at about 50 feet after our training session. Training was excellent, covered all the basics to make us comfortable. My 21 year old son had never dived before. This was a very short taxi ride from the cruise port, cost $8 each way US, taxis are plentiful and clean/professional. Very professional dive staff, reputable dive shop with a great team to support you. We would absolutely do this again and made life long memories.

Easy to get to shop via taxi. The crew was awesome and professional. My family has decided we all want to get certified to scuba. This was by far our favorite excursion and we definitely recommend Dr. Dive for anyone else wanting to try diving. Safe and thorough instructions.

Extraordinary ! One of the best diving clubs we have experienced so far: we start with a complete briefing on the equipment, then some exercises by two people with the instructor in shallow water, then finally you go on board the boat head to the diving spot! We dove with Lucas who was super friendly, very attentive and made this experience exceptional, in addition to the spot which is already extraordinary in itself! Go there with your eyes closed for an unforgettable experience 🤿
It’s a shame we didn’t stay longer because it made us want to take level 1 diving, especially with them!

This was absolutely the best experience of my life! I was paired with the the instructor Charlie and he was so sweet and patient, constantly checking to make sure I was good and having a great time! I would come back to Coasta Maya just to scuba dive with them again!!
