Let's get to know Christ the Redeemer, the most visited attraction in the whole country, not just in Rio, a 38-meter statue, made of concrete and soapstone, which stands at the top of the Corcovado mountain, and is 710 meters above sea level !
Afterwards, we will visit the Selaron Staircase, with its 215 steps beautifully decorated by the Chilean artist called Jorge Selaron. Next, we will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião in Rio de Janeiro, with its beautiful stained glass windows, and finally, Pão de Açúcar, where we will take the cable car to see the most beautiful view of the city!!
Or, whatever is possible, within the 6-7 hour tour, depending on the time of year, as on certain occasions, it is not possible to do everything in that period of time.

Patricia communicated well prior to pick up.. with clear instructions as to where pick up would be. The car was air conditioned & immaculate. She was extremely knowledgeable about Rio.. We got to all our points with little queuing and she always told us the best position on the train/ cable car to maximise our photographs. We had a truly amazing day in Rio and can't recommend her enough.

Our fantastic English speaking guide Patricia picked us up at the cruise ship terminal and took us to Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, Seleron Steps, Cathedral, National Library, lunch at Braziian BBQ, Ipanema and Cococobana beaches. We finished the day with a sightseeing harbor sunset cruise. Then we were dropped off at airport.

I recently had an amazing tour in Rio, exploring iconic landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, the Selarón Steps, and Sugarloaf Mountain. Patricia, our guide, was fantastic—her warmth, knowledge, and humor made the experience truly memorable. She also gave us the opportunity to practice our Portuguese as we are native English speakers. Her insights brought the sites to life, making it a delightful journey through Rio's culture and history. Due to traffic we were actually 1.5 hours late but Patricia and her team were able to accommodate us so we didn’t miss ant of the sites. It was great to have a large air conditioned bus for our large group of 10 as well. Highly recommend!

From the beginning when I booked the tour, everyone was very attentive. The guide Patrícia is amazing!! I had never been to Rio de Janeiro and I confess that I was surprised. From the moment they picked us up at the hotel (comfortable and impeccable van, extremely polite driver), they were punctual, attentive and made us feel welcomed in the Wonderful City. Patrícia explained to us about the tourist attractions with great kindness. We made friends that day! We will definitely come back and hire Lótus for the other tours. I recommend!!

Patricia had time to show us the Seleron steps before we headed to the harbor for a relaxed catamaran tour with stops for photos at the Museum of Tomorrow, a flight right overhead landing at the domestic airport, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the foot of Sugar Loaf. We appreciated the air conditioning on a very hot day in both the car and the catamaran. Patricia's English fluency and her love and knowledge of Rio de Janeiro is unsurpassed. I heartily recommend her. She maximized our short time for a shore excursion.
