Mana Kai Catamaran was built in 1977 by William Brown in Honolulu, Hawaii. Inspired by his father — Waikiki beach boy and surfing, sailing, and soaring legend Woody Brown, who built the very first modern day catamaran (Manu Kai).

What an Awesome time! Turtles galore! With tropical fish as an added bonus! The staff was very helpful, and extra friendly. This tour did not disappoint. Will definitely do again when we come back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

The crew was wonderful, I loved their professionalism and sense of humor. They took excellent care of every one of us, showed us the best spots, alerted when turtles were around, helped with equipment on the water. And the tour itself is beautiful, we saw so many different fishes, turtles, and then, the cherry on top - on our way back we saw a group of dolphins. Our captain slowed the boat down and we spent good amount of time admiring the dolphins. It was a great day.
P. S. Don’t forget sunscreen or even better - swim in a t-shirt. It’s very easy to burn while snorkeling

Very fun! Boat met us right on the beach in Waikiki and it was a smaller more intimate catamaran than some of the larger boat tours on the island. Spent adequate time out snorkeling and saw plenty of sea turtles and fish. Would recommend if you’re trying to get out snorkeling while visiting Oahu.

Watched dolphins very close on the way to Turtles reefs and coming back. One dolphin was showing off, flipping in the air. Crew is very nice and friendly, was helping to spot turtles, making jokes. We had a great time, would highly recommend.

This was an awesome experience with a friendly and experienced crew. Everyone was so helpful and made us feel very welcome and safe. The reef was awesome with lots of fish to see. We saw over 4 turtles and an eagle ray! We were also happily surprised to find out that the destination was a short sail away and most of our time was spent in the water or on the boat at our leisure. Very memorable and super fun! I’d highly recommend.

Great trip. We saw a bunch of dolphins on the way out. While snorkeling we saw 4 sea turtles from afar and one very close up. There were hundreds of fish. Water was very clear. Boat ride was a lot of fun. Thought the timing was perfect.

Wonderful experience.
My boyfriend and I were experienced - and didn’t need much help in the way of snorkeling- BUT- I was struck by how kind, patient, and helpful the crew was with others who needed a little more guidance. We saw MANY turtles- and lots of fish. Really lovely all around- and a big thank you to the darling crew for making it so pleasant!!

This was an amazing experience. The crew were professional, kind and helpful. We got to see a lot of fish, several eels and two sea turtles on our trip. The highlight was on the way back to the beach, a large Pod of dolphins swam near the ship and the captain diverted from going to shore to circle around the dolphins several times as they came right up to the ship. It was an amazing ending to an already great experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting waikiki.

Don’t be put off by the relatively cheap price and short duration. Bring your own water and snacks if you want them for the two hour trip. Be prepared to get wet right from the first minute.
I had a great time. A short trip from the beach near Duke statue took us out to the snorkeling site. There was a comprehensive safety briefing - for swimmers and to protect the wildlife - then about an hour in the water (which was more than enough for me). I took the 8.30am morning sail and there were still about 4-5 other boats of tourists around, but it never felt overcrowded and I had plenty of lovely up-close time with turtles and fish. The snorkeling gear was clean and worked well. I opted to swim without fins which worked just fine but you can have find if you like.
