We did a two day, one night tour from Sunday to Monday. There were a number of things that made this experience ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Here's a list:

- pick up was a problem where he was trying to hustle us to the car only to stop and pick up two other people right down the street.

- tour guide harped on the merits of drinking snake wine which would allow you to have better erections and thus more sex and thus more children. he continued harping about the sexual aspects of some of the products that we were going to see which was uncomfortable.

- day 1 we were hurried from thing to thing to thing and made us feel like cattle. If we didn’t buy anything, then we were just hurried to the next thing. We honestly felt like little kids being told how to feel and what to think. tour guide kept reiterating that we should not buy anything without asking him for help in order to not get ripped off which made us feel very awkward.

- tour guide emphasized at the start of the tour that we didn't need to tip but then during the boat ride, our boat rowers insisted on getting a tip from us. it was very uncomfortable.

- tour guide kept talking up the hotel saying that the three star hotel was better than a 5 star hotel. There isn’t even an option for a 5 star hotel in the area. Additionally, the hotel was meh at best. there were ants in our room and the breakfast was not good.

 - tour guide told us not to buy anything without letting him know so that he could help us negotiate. im unclear on why we needed him for anything when we can purchase things on our own.

- tour guide told us to meet in the lobby at 7am for the cai rang floating market. When we arrived at the wharf to get onto our boat, there were a lot of other groups coming back with fruits and veggies. Come to find out that by 7am, the market is mostly done and there isn’t anything to see, let alone buy. Tour guide also told us not to buy anything, saying that the vendors reserve their good produce for their regulars and give tourists crap products. He did buy us fruit later though. Also seemed to be obsessed with telling us the boat vendors bring their whole families including their wives so that the wives don’t get boyfriends and for "other reasons" which again, an unnecessary emphasis on sex.

- food at the hotel breakfast was greasy and mediocre at best. Their menus are not updated nor do they serve what is listed on their menu

- lunch on the second day was supposed to be at an ancient house. We were there but we weren’t given a tour. Tour guide took half the group on a bike ride while the other half just sat around waiting for them to finish. Come to find out a cooking class was supposed to be held, but that didn’t happen. Tour guide didn’t give us water until we were getting back on the bus to head back to hcmc, which would’ve been helpful to have before needing to purchase drinks at lunch.

Overall, this was a terrible tour from start to finish made worse by our terrible tour guide. Don't go if you want to be treated like a child.

I would highly recommend this tour! We had a great 2 days touring the Mekong region and Can Tho. There is so much included in this tour which makes it well worth it. You will get a chance to see multiple islands, try lots of local food, fruits, honey, rice paper, coconut candy as well as visit the famous floating market. Our tour guide Van was very knowledgeable and it was great to travel with her and learn about the Mekong region. I would definitely recommend this tour as you not only see the highlights of the Mekong and Can Tho area, you see more of Vietnam outside the city.

The trip was Very Nice and divers. We booked a tour in a Group, It we were the only ones, sowe ended up getting a private tour! Our guide Justin and the driver were Very frieny and helpful. Besides Justin speaks very good English. We saw a little less of the nature surrounding the Mekong river, and more of the commercial sides than we had experted and hoped for.

This tour was definitely worth the money! I felt like we did so many things, but not too much that it felt overwhelming. The tour was packed with different activities at different locations, but in between the locations we were able to rest on the boat. Plus, our tour guide Alex even entertained us with a live guitar performance which was amazing! During the tour, we got to know a lot about the Vietnamese culture, history, fun facts, etc. We also got to try a lot of local Vietnamese food! Overall, the tour was great and I would definitely recommend it

Our Mekong 2-day tour with Kai was absolutely amazing! Kai was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided us with so much information about the history, culture, and wildlife of the Mekong Delta. He was also very friendly and personable, making us feel comfortable and at home throughout the trip.

The tour itself was well-organized and allowed us to see a variety of different sites along the Mekong River, from bustling floating markets to peaceful villages. The highlight for us was definitely Caibe town we visited on the second day where we took a bike tour and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend this tour with Kai to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Mekong Delta. It was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come. Thank you, Kai!

Great excursion to the heart of the Mekong Delta. It’s a 100% local experience (markets, food, boat trips, etc.) thanks again to our guide Justin who gave us a lot of information about this region!
Small downside for the hotel which lacked a little cleanliness…
