Travel back in time, get a sense of what life was like in the occupied Czechoslovakia under Nazis. The trip starts in an authentic WWII underground shelter stuffed with many original items to see and touch. The guide will let you know the hard history. In the 4WD vehicle we will cruise a countryside where Nazis build huge petrochemical factory by using POW and force labor. You will discover former camps, bunkers, shelters and air raid shaft. The area was under heavy bombing raids of UK R.A.F. and US 8. a 15. flying army to stop Nazis product fuel. We tell you the stories of shoot down pilots and many more.
Small group of usually 4-6 people
Trip is operated form Prague. Pick up and drop off included, we will take you to the former Sudetenland (NW Bohemia) 1 hour from Prague.
Local á la carte lunch, Czech beer etc. included. Bottled water on board.

I have lived in Ustecky Region many years. I thought that I have know every place in my homeland, but I was wrong. The guide showed a lot of places which I haven’t know exist. Knowledge of guide was huge about local history and the evolution of nature. Narration of guide was interesting and attractive. I couldn’t stop listening. I will look forward to the next tour from company Offroadsafari.

The trip is interesting. It's good that Offroadsafari is developing tourism in places where people would not have thought of going voluntarily a few years ago, but which is now gradually returning to the people.
The bunker presented is actually a factory cellar converted into a makeshift war shelter, unfortunately presented practically as it was after years of disuse and filled with all sorts of junk from communist relics to old found ammunition. The excursion of the mining machines was a bit disappointing, it was more like a trip to their scrap yard, the machines in question are no longer working but are dismantled. The racist insertions into an otherwise interesting storytelling were disappointing.

The WWII themed trip in the Most District was fun, educational and I already know it wasn't my last trip with Offroad Safari!

This was a lot of fun. I won't spoil the surprises but for my son and husband who are war buffs, this was an incredible experience full of educational sites.
Martin goes out of his way to ensure that you will both have fun and experience a lot of interesting sites.

It was a unique trip to places I didn't know about, even though I'm a local. The history that breathed on me left beautiful memories for a long time. And the trip also made me think again about 1938, whether the nation should have defended itself or not... The trip was very successful and the company Offroad Safari are professionals. Thanks. Tomas

Wow! This was day with crew of well educated and skilled people. They prepare small over-land trip with offroads - it was full of info and amazing stories. We love it and we would like to go also the rest of their trips soon!

A full day trip takes you back to 2nd world war - interesting tour back to the days when the region was strategical source for the Nacis. You will get to know how they defended the factory and how they treated the workers there.
