Great tour, informative and friendly guide, fast track avoiding the queues:
There were no lanyards for the radios which was a bit annoying when climbing steps

We were 5 minutes late and we had no opportunity for us to catch up. I don’t think these tours move that quickly so I wasn’t sure why we couldn’t try to join them.. we were given tickets to go on our own.

With some more coffee and active people watching, we recharged our batteries and pushed on to join our pre-arranged afternoon tour of St Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace. Both were great and the tour guide provided context and history about Venice. Recommended.

This was such an informative tour. Our guide, Franca, explained how the building mirrored the cultural, political and religious changes over the centuries. Her style brought the four horsemen to life. She showed us the work of artisans mosaics in every part of the holy place. A+
