Our Bordeaux food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Bordeaux. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing French culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.

Clémence, our tour guide was wonderful. She knew so much about Bordeaux, and was happy to explain the history and significance of sites we were seeing as we walked from one culinary stop to another. Each of the stops on this food tour were top notch, from the wine tasting, the chocolates, the exceptional lunch, and of course the ubiquitous Bordeaux Cannelés stop. To pick a favorite would be a bit difficult but my wife and I both agreed that the cream filled pastry puffs at Chez Pascal Dunes Blanches were to die for! They were the most amazing cream puffs we have ever tasted. If you can only take one food tour in Bordeaux, we would highly recommend Do Eat Better. If you happen to get Clémence as your guide, you will be very happy!

Clemence was very friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. She gave us quite a bit of history of the city as we walked around seeing different sites. We visited the oldest wine shop in Bordeaux and while tasting wines from various regions learned about the trends and history of the different wine making regions in the Bordeaux area. Our lunch was in a small local bistro which featured dishes with a variety of local flavors. After, we sampled local chocolates,, traditional Dunes Blanches and local “canele”. All were very tasty and we learned a bit about the making and history of each. Overall the tour was more than worth the time and money, with the perfect balance of history, walking, tasting and sweets. Following the tour Clem gave us various recommendations on where to continue our Bordeaux food and wine experience over the next few days. We would highly recommend this tour to get the most out of your visit to Bordeaux.

Giulia was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and personable! Great experience! Delicious food choices, fabulous wine, and yummy pastries, and chocolates! I highly recommend Giulia and this specific food and wine tasting! We also enjoyed all of the history analogy provided us along the way!

An excellent way to experience and explore the best of Bordeaux. From the wines to the food we got to enjoy the things that make Bordeaux special. The pace of the tour was relaxed, so plenty of time for questions and discussion. Highly recommend!

what a trrrific tour and having it be a small group made it special. our tour guide Clemence was extremely knowledgeable on the food and Bordeaux history. the choice of stops was perfect. the wines were excellent and sitting for the main meal gave everyone a chance to learn about each other. we likely would not have found all of the special desserts had we tried to do this on our own. highly recommend this excellent tour.

Our tour with Antoine was excellent. He shared with us his vast knowledge of the local area. It was a very relaxed pace stopping to taste some wine and local delicacies.
The lunch venue was great with amazing food.
Learnt a lot and took some great photos.

We were very entertained and learned a lot on the tour with Aurelien. We had been to one of the restaurants the day before so he arranged for a new dish for us. We explored a large area of the city center and tried a great variety of local foods.
