Mount Vesuvius is one of the most attractive volcanos in the world. It is internationally renowned for the 79 A.D. eruption, which destroyed the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae. From a distance, the Vesuvius seems to be harmless but when the brave tourist approaches near its crater, he feels the power of the “big Giant”. Departing from Pompeii, you will reach an altitude of 1000 meters, and from the parking area you will reach the crater following a trekking path that usually takes 30 minutes. Once there, enjoy the breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples. The dropoff will be at the Naples Central Station.
The maximum group size is 18-25 people. Tour includes round-trip transportation from central Naples hotels or the cruise port.

Excellent tour!! Giovanni (coordinator and guide) always attentive and Carmine (driver), a genius, handled everything! The whole experience was very good, both the tour of Pompeii and the climb to Vesuvius. The food is a delicacy.

The tour with the guide Giovanni, driver Francesco who guided us throughout the tour and Nancy who guided us in Pompeii was very good, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The view of Vesuvius is incredible and the trip to Pompeii is full of history. A great tour for those who are going to Naples and want an affordable and different tour.

Can’t visit Naples without visiting Pompei and Vesuvius, it’s literally walking around in history. The dayguide Giovanni (worldtours)was very welcoming and knows his stuff. In Pompei Titziana made sure we got to see all the special things, also were it was very crowded.
Big shout out for our driver Antonio as well. They really made an effort to make this the best experience, would definitely book with them again.
Walking up hill in the heat to the top off vesuvius is worth the effort. The wine and meal were a treat.
