Pompeii Vesuvius Day Tour from Naples with Italian Lunch and Wine

Giovanni and the driver Lino made our day enjoyable. Got to all locations smoothly, had enough time at both locations. We learned a lot, and had a very good lunch before the hike at Vessuvio. Highly recommended. Thank you!

It was a wonderful tour and Giovanni was an excellent guide. He was friendly and helpful and on time. Lino was a very safe and competent driver even with the difficulty going up Mt Vesuvius. I would also like to mention our very knowledgeable and experienced guide at Pompeii, Claudia. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing excursion! First we visited Pompeii with a wonderful guide, next we had a massive lunch with wine tasting ( pizza, pasta, dessert and 3 wines!) Absolutely delicious - we were stuffed. Last, we climbed Mount Vesuvius and burned all the food off - haha! What a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Leandro was an amazing guide and our driver was super professional. Pompeii is so incredible and Vesuvius is breathtaking! The lunch at the vineyard was also quite good!

The trip was amazing! It was very informative learning the history of Pompeii and very well organized from the start to the end. The lunch was brilliant having food at a winery up on Vesuvius. Lastly the small hike to see Vesuvius was beautiful looking over Naples! We had the pleasure of having tour guide Alessandro and driver Mario for our tour. They were both very helpful!

Pompeii was great, the guided tour was super helpful as a primer, possibly our favorite part of our whole trip, it’s so big you could keep exploring for days. Approx 2 hours flat walking.

Lunch + wine tasting was fine but not amazing, though the property was beautiful. I was very happy to have food provided. Approx 1.5 hours sitting

Vesuvius was also great, but way more walking than anticipated. It is a steep loose gravel uphill climb for about 20-40 mins (depending on your fitness level). I enjoyed the hike but my parents struggled. This part is unguided and hiking boots are advised. Approx 2 hours hiking

Total (including pickup, transit, and drop off) was about 8 hours.

The staff were really nice, and were very accommodating. They were even flexible enough to drop us off right outside our hotel as my parents legs were done for the day.

The Tour was so fantastic. Giovanni informed very good and looks that everything works. The driver Gennaro navigated relaxed through the traffic in Naples and the serpentines on Mount Vesuvius. Both are very sympathic guys. Thank you so much for the nice day!

Giovanni, our guide, and Gennaro, our driver looked after us very well. The tour was well-managed and interesting. A Good day out. Mt Vesuvius has a great view but is a bit of a climb. Bring good legs and walking shoes for the day. The pick up and transfer were very smooth and comfortable. Giovanni, the guide was good fun and an amiable host. Pompeii tour was fascinating. 2 hours enough for the beginner
