Join our small group shore excursion from the port of Katakolon with our fully air-conditioned vehicle (minibus or coach) with skip-the-line tickets included. Drive for 45 minutes from Katakolon to Olympia with on board commentary from your guide. Upon arriving to Olympia enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological site and museum with an officially licensed English speaking tour guide. Then you will have free time to explore the modern town of Olympia before returning back to the port. We always make sure you will return to the port before "all aboard" time.
The starting time of the tour is subject to the cruise ship's arrival time. If the ship for example arrives at 09:00, the tour will start at 09:30 instead of 08:30.

We were unable to take the excursion, because Highwinds presented our cruise ship from landing. We reported this both by text and email on the morning our cruise announce to us that we could not land.
We asked for a confirmation of your receiving our communication, that our excursion needed to be canceled, but we have not heard back.

The three principal sites were well chosen, and really represent the areas best places to visit. The guide was informative without talking too much. A very good excursion.

This was the best tour of our trip! Our guide, Joanna, was so knowledgeable and taught us a great deal. The pace was comfortable for all of the guests and the lunch at a Greek restaurant with music, dancing and beautiful views was a highlight of our trip.

Zoe was our tour guide. She did a wonderful job of informing us of all the sites we saw. there were 11 people in our group we had devices that we could hear her speak regarding the sites we saw. after our visit at Olympia, we went directly for a fabulous lunch at a Greek restaurant which included wine. The food was delicious! We had such a memorable day!

I’m not sure if I am posting this review in the right place, but I really want to give special recognition to a terrific tour, guide and driver. We took a small group excursion (on July 10, 2023) that we booked through
Greektraveling.com. (but is an Olympic tour by Niki). It was called Olympic Explorers and it included a very interesting olive oil factory tour & tasting, a delicious, incredibly fresh, Greek style lunch (in the hills overlooking olive groves) and tour of the ancient Olympic site.
Our tour guide, Zoe, was exceptional!!!!
She has such a vast knowledge of all things related to the tour and an undeniable love for the land and her town. She has first hand knowledge of the Olive industry, being a working member of her family’s olive farm.
She was utterly captivating when sharing her knowledge and the history of each stop along the tour. She brought everything to life for us!
Our driver, Joanna (spelling?) was friendly and navigated expertly. The vehicle was spacious, spotless and had great air conditioning!
The tour was beautifully paced for my husband and I, both age 68 and with knee and back issues. There was time to rest, relax and cool off.
Truly a memorable experience!
