The experience begins with a tour of the nearby La Boquería market.
With a rainbow of top-quality produce and diverse blend of aromas, it’s hardly surprising that it is saturated by tourists, making it all the more useful to have a local guide you through the hustle and bustle. The guide will explain to you about traditional foods and the most popular Catalans products as well.
After that we come back to our gastronomic space in order to go ahead to make the cooking workshop.
All carefully prepared to perfection, the sampling menu consists of a spectacular array of ten “Tapas”, originating from various cities within Spain. The chef will explain the history of Spanish cuisine through these “Tapas”.
After that we will be ready to start the cooking class.
As a menu we will cook Seafood Paella, Spanish Omelet and Crema Catalana for dessert. Enjoy excellent regional wines.
Includes drinks throughout the activity, in the Tapas, in the cooking class and in the Menu.

Did this class with my wife and daughter. We all had a great time. Jaime and Alfredo are fantastic hosts/teachers. Jaime does the market tour and Alfredo teaches the cooking class. Overall, a fantaastic experience.

This was an extremely informative & engaging class. We received explanations of the culture, food, and market. Plus, the cooking instruction was very simplistic and skills that you could repeated at home. It was the highlight of our entire Spain trip! Highly recommend.

Very good experience. Jaime guides us through the market and helped the chef, Alfredo teach us how to prepare and cook a paella and we also made a "tortilla" with egg, potatoes and onions and a creme brulee for dessert. Alfredo was a fun guy to be with and has a passion for the people as well as the food. And we also enjoyed several "tapas". It was a good experience. The entrance is a little non-descript and the experience takes place in a third floor walk up apartment. We also enjoyed the excursion to the market just off La Rambla.

Fabulous, very clean market, with stalls selling all kinds of local and other food and drinks, fresh or prepared ready to eat as sandwiches and tapas either standing or sitting in a very shaded and pleasant adjacent square.
Also exist. 2 side halls with small restaurants that offer typical Spanish foods as well as pizzas and hamburgers on comfortable outdoor tables.
Sweets and chocolates stand out 😊

Best experience of my first solo trip. You feel at home cooking with friends. The chef is so kind and really teaches you technique of food flavor and how to make the simplest items bursting with flavor

I loved learning about the history of tapas in Spain. The chef was knowledgeable and very entertaining teaching. I really enjoyed the experience of eating the tapas and learning the uniqueness of each region. The experience of making a paella, tortilla and sweet cream was amazing. I highly recommend this cooking experience.
