In the end Torcello, created from the last Romans escaped from Barbarians Invasions. Today considered the beginning of our Western Civilization with its last 9 locals.

Incredible experience! I wasn’t sure when I first booked it. The Guide Andrea was awesome! He was awesome! Very informative. We got to see a lot! I highly recommend the tour. Worth the money!!!

This tour leaves relatively early, 0900, so for much of it, avoids the crowds. We have spent 7 weeks in Europe from Australia, self-organised with many tours, and this was by far the best tour best value and best fun tour. Our Venetian guide was so passionate it was a pleasure to learn all about the lagoon’s history. Lunch was at one of several recommended restaurants and was lovely, by a Burano canal. The lacemaking and glass artisans they chose to take us to were outstanding. Well done Andrea!

Very nice tour with Andrea. First to Torcello, then Burano and Murano. Over 5 hours packed with entertainment, knowledge and variety. Highly recommended.

Our guide was Andrea. He was our first tour in Italy. He made it better than we could have hoped for. His sense of humor was spot on for us. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful tour given by Andreapaolo. In addition to his lightheartedness - he offered historical context, great food, shopping photo opportunities and general understanding on how to navigate Venice.
A nice plus, he is a true local with experience on how to keep us from the crowds!
I would highly recommend this tour. Size of the group was also perfect.

Whilst I guide was friendly and funny, the whole experience was underwhelming and we definitely could have visited these three islands ourselves and got as much information. In addition to your online ticket price from Viator, you are also required to buy a public transport 24hr Ticket at the additional cost of 25 Euro. This is because the tour utilises the extremely busy and overcrowded Public Transport to get each of the islands.
We did get to visit each of the three islands. The first Torcelli was probably the moat interesting but our time was limited here and I guide sent us up the tower with little information, whilst he stayed at the bottom to smoke. (There is a amazing small Museum here with Roman artifacts & Frescos but this was NOT included in the tour)
Murano and Burano were both beautiful islands but unfortunately both of our organised visits to The Lace Shop & Glass Blowing Factory felt more like sales pitches than a actual demonstration. (The public can visit these places and see these demonstrations at any time for Free)
In short, you can save yourself the price of this tour and instead buy yourself a public transport 24hr pass and make your own way to these beautiful Islands and explore in your own time.

We had a GREAT time traveling with Andrea. He is extremely fun. We felt like VIP'S! We took public transportation but still was able to skip every line. He truly knows everyone and is able to use his personal connections to ensure we get the most of our experience.

Our local guide was Andrea, he was knowledgable, funny and knew everyone. This was a real bonus when it came to jumping the queues. The islands are well worth a visit, so beautiful. So pleased we chose a local guide, he made our day so much more interesting and fun.

We had such an exclusive / personal experience w/ you in Venice — our kids keep talking about you —- you are now their unofficial Venetian uncle.
Day 1 in Venice we did the evening tour where it was really wonderful experience to get to know the city of Venice. W/ stories of history & culture … we stopped for photos of course … and authentic Osteria for dinner :) JUST AMAZING.
Day 3 we did the island tour to Burano & Murano w/ Vapporetto… we were the only people … so Lucky :) We met in person the glass makers & their store - learned about the famous artists that order particular designs . Also, in Burano like Fairy tale (or colorful kids story book city ) we walked about the city & also visited the shop where they have school & actual seamstress who make the lace :)
We even had time for lunch before heading back to main island Venice.
The entire Experience w/ Andrea is AMAZING !!!
