The actual ride segments were OK...not great, but OK. Arrival at the site and their handling of the crown for pre-ride briefings was uncoordinated and amateur.
The cave swim stop was a joke...small, dark, crowded and dangerous for older riders to enter and exit the water. It was really just a buy-our-products stop for the adjacent shop owners.
The 2nd buy-our-products stop was OK and should have been the only stop on the tour. However, the coffee, tea and chocolate tastings were underwhelming compared to other excursion experiences I've had.
This excurion experience was not up to par with my past Viator tours. You might want to drop this operator for a more professionally run operation to protect Viator's reputation.

Place needs some updating, there is no coffee tasting we stop by a hut and had a taste, went to the beach and had lunch 80 dollars US so over priced!!!

STAY AWAY!!! This had to be the worst excursion ever. I'm pretty easy going, but i had to review this. It started out with taking 3 bus rides over 2 hours long which should have been about 1/2 hour ride to the destination. First stop was at the cave pool which is in a ver poor part of town where vendors and kids are non stop and the cave must have had 100 ppl waiting to walk down. Next stop was the coffee tasting which was another joke, it's not chocolate tasting it's hot chocolate tasting. Last stop was at a public beach where all the locals go. Nice beach but didn't feel safe even with 2 teens. The ATV ride was even less than enjoyable. Just dirt road with rocks, no views no scenery, nada. The reason for so many 5 star reviews is they guilt people after the tour is over. Even the return consisted of 2 more bus rides where they didn't even have tour hotel stop correct. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE unless you enjoy sitting in buses for over 3 hours.

Definitely bring sunglasses and bandanas. We barely got muddy. The water cave was a let down, it wasn’t that pretty and we felt rushed. Hospitality was there tho. Beach was absolute beautiful :)

Transportation very unorganized. Waited 2 hours after excursion over to get transportation back . Only give you 20 minutes at each station & rushes you to finish them.

L'activité etait telque decrit . Le debut etait un peu lent (20 m de retard pour le transport) mais tres gentil. Bcp de detoir ́oir aller chercher les gens a leir point de rencomtre (1hrs30). Une fois arrivé, louis notre guide, nois a fait un topo rapide sur le deroulement et quelque conseil concernant les vendeur et habitant qui son tres tres insistant pour vendre des truc ou avoir de largent) mais je le savais a lavamce et la cie nous avait tred bien avisé dans le courriel de confirmation .
- visite de la cenote, un peu trop rapide, bcp bcp bcp de monde, je me sentais tlmnt pressé que je nai meme pas ose y aller. (Les enfants et mon conjoint non plus).
- les degustations de produit etait short and sweet. Nous etions sourtout l a pour faire le 4 roue et nous avions hate que ca decolle pour de vrai.
- un fois les 2 stop terminé, laaaa on est parti pour un + ou - 30 min vers macao. Cetait la 3iem fois que jy allais , cetait en.fin de journee vers 5 hrs (bcp moin de vendeur) mais il te vende des pina colada (sans alcool) a 18 US. Donc jai prit une btl deau a 2$ qui etait temperature plage. Notre guide avait bien avisé de demander le prix avant de commander et jai bien compris pourquoi . Leau etait superbe, la place aussi, nous disposion de 25 min pour la baignade.
- retour a l' hotel. 8hrs 30 au lieu de 6 hr 40. Ce qui ne nous a pas derangé.
** point negatif, tres/trop achalender. Bcp bcp d'attente au intersection.
* point positif/ macao beach, la ride de retour en 4 roue/le guide/prix de lactivité.

Really fun instructor was funny it also rained during the time we where riding so that was coo as well because of how hot it was

If you’re on the fence whether to book this excursion let me tell you that you will not regret it. I loved all the tour guides I liked that they explained before had what to expect so there was no surprises. I loved that we drove in the country side and got to see some of the local people . I loved driving the ATV on the muddy water so be ready to get a little dirty , I didn’t swim in the cenote because it’s was dark & 25ft deep so please if you’re not a good swimmer skip that part . Be sure to bring lots of cash if your want to buy goodies like shea butter , coffee, souvenirs and food at the beach .

This trip was terrible through and through the last organizing it messaged us at 11 pm which we were already asleep luckily i woke up in the middle of the night and saw our 9 am excursion would have a pick up at 7:30 am. no food was open at the resort to eat prior. we waited at the gate for the bus for an hour and didn't get picked up until 8:30. the places they took us were dirty and selling coffee for $20 a jar the shea butter we got was $10 at the resort and they charged us $45... unfortunately we didn't know and because they said it benefits schools we purchased it. we waited for an hour and a half to be taken home. the ATV ride was slow and the views were of the dominican slums filled with trash and children running on the side trying to hand you berries and flowers for money. very sad to see. the only good part was the cave. the 4 hour excursion was really 7. we wasted a day of our trip. they told me over voice message they would refund 50% because they made us so late we didn't make it to our second activity which was non refundable. so we were out $400 between the two. i do not like to write terrible reviews but you're better off staying at the resort than attending this activity. try booking through the resort instead for a faster experience. 7 hours for ATV is much too long.
