Puerto Rico El Yunque Rainforest Hiking to a Waterfall and Cliff Jumping Adventure

At the riverbed you will find pools and a tall rock face. A truly majestic waterfall will be visible immediately as you enter the clearing from under the canopy. Amazing pictures galore! You will have the opportunity to swim and we will even show you a few places to jump from.
The trail consists of an initial gentle sloping terrain (10 minutes) with another more inclined terrain (20 minutes) down to the waterfall.
This trail has everything that you look forward to on a real true hike in the woods. You will make your way past wildflowers, passion fruit vines, and tropical hardwood trees. The wildlife consists of birds, snails, and others.

Had an excellent tour with Narayan, with stunning views of waterfalls in El Yunque, an invigorating nature hike and wonderful swimming near the waterfall. He was a very knowledgeable guide (nature, history + politics) and took us to less touristy places and vistas, with a great Puerto Rican lunch at the end of the tour. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience, the best tour ever, tour guide Narayan was amazing! he was professional, friendly, and fun…he made sure we enjoyed ourselves and also educated us about nature and the rainforest.

For my very first ever airbnb/tour experience with my kids, this exceeded all our expectations! Our guide was friendly, personable, and patient. We had an amazing time with Narayan! The location is magical, I don't know when we will ever get to see a sight like this waterfall again. I am so glad I found a guide that offered to pick us up and take us to this special place.

Amazing experience. Our tour guide Naryan was the best. Hike in was easy pretty much all down hill was about 1/2 mile to get to water fall with three different cliff jumping points.
My kids 13 and 15 loved it it. Hike back was little tougher but very manageable the kids blew by it. You will make memories that will last lifetime.

Wow wow wow.! This is my second time booking with Seeing Puerto Rico. This experience was amazing. I was with my family and my brother’s family ages 13 to 48 — 9 total in our group. Door to door it was perfect. The waterfalls were so special and allowed all of to experience the wonder and joy of the rainforest at our respective risk levels. Narayan was an incredible guide.

This experience was a 10/10! Narayan picked us up from where we were staying and while on the way to El Yunque, gave us the background of Puerto Rico and its famous history. He gave us perfect instructions to ensure we didn’t get hurt and was patient with each and every one of us, allowing us to enjoy ourselves without any potential fear. The views were amazing and peaceful as we began our hike and at the end we rewarded ourselves with a nice big jump into the river that refreshed us all. This was my first time in Puerto Rico so i’m grateful that we were able to meet Narayan to give us the best experience of the true island life. Will definitely be returning !

This was an incredible tour! Not only did we visit beautiful waterfalls but we enjoyed cliff jumping and learned about the beauty and native wildlife of Puerto Rico. Our tour guide was very welcoming and ensured we all had a great time & felt safe while doing so. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing experience. I also would love to take the tour again in the future.

The trip overall was amazing. Great views, very informative, you feel safe at all times. Great time in the water. Beautiful waterfalls, the hike is nice as well. Not too hard for one to accomplish. Nayaran picks you up and explains a lot throughout the whole trip. You are able to take tons of pictures and enjoy a great time with friends and family. Highly recommend!!!

Narayan is the best tour guide you could possibly get in PR!! I traveled with three other girls and we all enjoyed the tour greatly. He is very knowledgeable of PR and extremely friendly. He introduced us to local music and businesses that created an overall authentic experience for us. He explained to us many aspects of Puerto Rican and indigenous culture and history, as well as the plants and animals we encountered in PR. He has an amazing sense of humor and our trip was filled with as much laughter as we had enrichment/learning. Narayan clearly loves what he does, and he is very open minded and eager to learn from his tourists as well. He also takes great photos of the scenery. We got to see not only beautiful parts of El Yunque but also the Mayor’s house, statues, local food, etc. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone — from families to a group of friends, etc.!!!
