I was the only English speaker on the trip. It would have been nice to know that head of time, but they accommodated me being a monoglot. Beautiful scenery, great history, nice people.

We were supposed to be picked up at our hotel instead the driver sent someone to pick us up and had them meet us on the side of the highway with no explanation. The tour was not what we paid for it was one of the lesser trips that was offered. The tour guide, Pedro, was very nice and made the outing very enjoyable.

We had a small group of 11 people and our tour guide Nicholas was very good to accommodate our needs. He tried to show us more places other than those on the list. We paid more than the big group , but it’s worthy.

Very good tour and see very representative places in Santo Domingo
It is a little tiring due to the trip from Punta Cana but it is worth it
The cathedral is very beautiful, the presidential palace is very beautiful and we got to see the president and his entourage enter

Transportation to Santo Domingo from Punta Cana was chaotic and disorganized. Upon request, local operator emailed me with meeting location and pick up time to be 6:45am. I arrived early at 6:35am and driver did not wait and left me behind. After calling Viator, a van arrived 1 hr later and had 2 transfers to meet up with my tour. Then stopped 3 times to transfer and pickup more passengers. Did not reach Santo Domingo until 12noon and our 10hr tour ended up being 14hrs!! Better to find private transportation and join a tour in Santo Domingo.
Gregory, our tour guide did a good job translating between English and Spanish to give interesting information about history of locations we visited. Enjoyed visiting caves and walking tour of city and historical locations.

The tour was quite good but I booked an English tour.
Unfortunately I ended up in a Spanish tour with a guide giving the information in both languages. But at the end of the day he spent most of the time speaking in Spanish with the rest of the group and the driver. As I'm a solo traveler, I felt excluded since I don't speak Spanish.
To be completely honest his English wasn't so good either. I even had to use a translator app...
I would not recommend this tour since they are mixing languages if you are a solo traveler like me and are not comfortable in Spanish.
