This trip is a must do to check off your bucket list! The boat ride in the dark illuminated the stars. I’ve never seen such a spectacular show of brilliant stars!!! The dip in the ocean water was invigorating on a hot summer night. The glow over your body and around you in the bioluminescent bay was a once in a lifetime experience!

It'd been years since I last visited this bioluminescent bay. It was much brighter this trip than I remember from before. What great about this location is you can get in the water and swim, creating your own flashes of light.
Our tour operator was Gina's Johnny's Boats. They were friendly and located right in the town of La Parguera. We started a little later than the advertised 7:15 time because they were waiting for the full sunset. While waiting, be prepared for mosquitos and, of your going to swim, be sure to use a reef/bio safe repellant.

Great little tour. It was a bit more light from the moon but still was able to enjoy the tour. Was able to swim around. My 10 year old daughter loved it. Thank you Johnny for your boating.

I'm so happy we decided to do this adventure and our boat driver Franko was the best !!! We got to spend the perfect amount of time in the water and it was an easy ride to the bay !

Cool to see the effects of moving in the water. Felt great, too, with 90 degree days! Justin told us information on the reasons the bioluminescent dinoflagellates are here. And some about the area & island. Worth the time and money!

The conditions were great on the day we went. Great experience. I would advise that if you can’t tread water or swim very well for at least 20 minutes you will need the life vests.

My new husband and I booked this as part of our honeymoon. We drove three hours to experience this. It was worth it! Might be a once in a lifetime experience? We really want to do it again!
