Seoul is an incredible city - beautiful, efficient, clean, very affordable to visit. June's tour adds some dimension to that so you understand a little of the backstory of South Korea's economic miracle and some of the quirks of modern Korean youth culture. Plus he's very funny, so the tour isn't a downer, it's just really interesting. We all enjoyed it, including (maybe especially) my 17-year old.

Jun was a well experienced and intelligent person. His work as a tour guide was so professional. His way of showing and understanding of his own society gives you a glimpse of what is actually going on in the current competitive environment especially in the younger generations. Important perspective on the deeply rooted issues makes you think of your own life history and of the society as well. Very informative experience and lots of facts and figures are also convincing. His respectful remarks on the hard work of the part generations in South Korea took my hut off. I could see the light in his generation and the next coming ones in this country.

June is an intelligent and excellent speaker, who wove a clear narrative about contemporary life in Korea through the lens of the Gangnam district. The tour involves easy walking and some train travel, but June manages it all very smoothly.

Our tour guide, Jessica, was very informative and friendly, and we learned a lot about the lives of youth and society in Korea. I highly recommend this tour to see a different perspective that is not so glamorous like what you see in K-dramas.

Jessica was a wonderful tour guide, with a lot of interesting information. So giving 5 stars to her.

But to the tour company, walking around aimlessly makes no sense. We could have just sat in one spot, and listened to her like a lecture. Nothing really significant added by walking around to the locations on the tour.

So the actual walking part could be much improved. Think about it.

June provides fascinating insight into modern Korean society. We felt like we learned a lot in a few short hours, and came away with knowledge and conversation that we would not have gotten elsewhere. This tour is unique and an excellent value for what we paid.
