This private guided hike and picnic is great for Senior Adults and Families with Children. We will learn about the formation of the canyon, the flora and fauna, and the rich human history of the area. We will also learn of the importance of National Parks, and how to preserve and protect them. Because we believe the parks are a place for families to create lasting memories, up to 2 children 12 and under hike free when accompanied by paying adults.

Our guide, Michael, was awesome. He diligently pointed out all the important details along the hike and captured our group in beautiful photos in the most picturesque places.

What an amazing introduction to Zion. We will definitely be back. Micheal makes everything so easy and relaxed and hassle free. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, full of answers and recommendations, and an all-around lovely person to spend the afternoon with!

AN ABSOLUTE AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Michael was fabulous...so prepared with our gear (so thankful for our waterproof socks, boots, and poles), snacks and a fantastic picnic lunch. Our family enjoyed our new experience and Michael was the perfect blend of knowledge and friendly chat to ensure an excellent experience for all. Moises is such a great guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. He is so knowledgeable about every aspect of the park and was easily able to answer all of our questions. We would highly recommend him.

We had an amazing experience with Cedar & Sage Trekking. Our tour guide, Moises, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and fun. We were able to do two hikes in our allotted time, and Moises even provided us with an amazing charcuterie lunch halfway through our day. We will definitely be back and do another hike with this company!

I can't say enough good things about our experience in Bryce with Moises from Cedar and Sable Treking. The hike was perfect and a good challenge. Lunch was fantastic. Our guide's knowledge of the park and care for us was a blessing and a memory that will remain with us!

We had the most wonderful day hiking with Michael! From start to finish working with him was a breeze. Michael gave us some helpful ideas prior to our hike so we could figure out what we wanted to do. As the day approached , the weather was looking poor for a day outside and Michael was very accommodating. Luckily, the weather held out and we were able to proceed as planned. During our hike, Michael had so much information to share with us- about the park history, things we were seeing, stories etc. It was also very encouraging when the hike got hard to have him with us, telling us how much further we had to go. He was interesting and fun to talk to. While we could have hiked without a guide, we all felt we would have missed out on so much. We were all engaged the entire day and learned so much more than we possibly could have, if we had not been with a guide. If you are looking to add a special touch to a day in Zion, call Michael!

Moises is hands down the best guide we've ever had. He absolutely made our trip to Zion National Park. He was friendly and engaging and oh so knowledgeable. The picnic lunch was beyond anything we expected. Book this tour I promise you won't regret it!
