This is a hard trip to put together by yourself. When I realized I messed up getting my ticket to Machu Picchu, I decided to book a tour. It is more money than doing it yourself but everything is taken care of for you. Nixon was very helpful with getting all my details arranged correctly. He even paid me back money from the balance of booking a cheaper hotel. Getting into this historical place is not easy.

This was an amazing trip! We booked this trip to go to Machu Picchu from Cusco. It was booked a week before our arrival, however we did not know that the one day trip can happen only if booked two months in advance, as the Machu Picchu entrance tickets can be booked by the tour company only two months in advance.
Nixon from Mega Expeditions got in touch with us immediately and explained the situation and provided an alternative solution. He even set up Zoom video calls with us and explained the route to Machu Picchu, booked the bus and train rides and arranged the tour guide. This trip would have been so confusing for a first time visitor, however Nixon communicated very clearly and in a timely manner and ensured we got our tickets to Machu Picchu. He provided the best customer service!!
This was a great trip and Machu Picchu was breathtaking. The tour guide at the location was great. Thank you Nixon and Mega Expeditions for making our dream come true! 😊🥳

Do to some misunderstanding, sadly i couldn't take part on this Machu Picchu Trip bevause it was set for two days on the given date instead of one day.
However the Tour Guide Nixon contacted me immediatly and in a very respectfull, profesional and helping maner. We could sort things out the same day and i got a refund without any hesitation. If i somehow fond the time again to visit cusco i will for sure go to Machu Picchu with Nixon. And obviously will recomend him to my friends aswell.

We unfortunately had to book tickets last minute, due to passport issues. So we were very pleasantly surprised to find a 1-day tour to Machu Picchu. The trouble all started 2 days prior we received a call telling us that we now had to do a 2 day tour as we didn’t actually have tickets. They clearly knew this was going to be the case, but sold it as a 1 day tour anyways. If it had been explained upfront that was going to be the case I would have much less upset about it. I found most of the practices at Mega Travel to be very borderline untruthful , selling one thing then changing it to another after sale. they gave us money back for the tickets to Machu Picchu so we could purchase ourselves day before, but then charged us to stay 1 night at a pretty crummy hotel. Aguas Calientes was a beautiful little town and had we not been under so much stress from the ever changing information we would have enjoyed it more. We did make it to Machu Picchu, but we way over paid for services barely rendered. If I were to do it all again I would do it all myself as I learned that is completely doable and fairly easy, no need to pay a middle man especially if the middle man isn’t good. You are paying to make it easier, and in this case it definitely wasn’t easier and the travel company barely delivered.
