The experience with Megaexpedition was great and magical, if this place is already charming with them it becomes magical, the guides tell the history of this place with great ownership and security, the train is an experience from another world, they made us a work of theater of pachacuta and his beloved, everything was so great these days that are not to be forgotten, during this tour MEGA was always there for any situation that arose, they were cordial, attentive, and very professional.

We opted for the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Days by Train tour with Mega Expeditions! Firstly, we want to express gratitude for the assistance Nixon and his team provided during our tour. The tour guides were knowledgeable and endeavored to address our questions throughout the journey. However, from a professional standpoint, we couldn't rate the tour 5 stars due to the following reasons.
Initially, we had a Zoom meeting with Mega Expeditions a couple of months before our trip. Our understanding was that we needed to purchase Machu Picchu tickets two months in advance only if we intended to hike Huayna Picchu mountain. Contrary to this, we discovered that tickets had to be bought in advance irrespective of the circuits we wished to explore. While we acknowledge this might have been a misunderstanding on our part, we found it disappointing that their website allowed us to book and pay the deposit without warning us about the possibility of not being able to visit Machu Picchu on our desired date, especially since we booked the tour just one week prior. Other tour companies' websites wouldn't allow us to book and pay for the chosen date and instead advised us that we would have to buy the tickets in person when we arrived in Aguas Calientes.
During the tour, we had to take a train to Aguas Calientes. Due to the snafu with the tickets, we had to stay in Aguas Calientes for an extra day. Despite asking them multiple times whether we could take our suitcase with us on the train, they repeatedly assured us that it was okay. However, we only found out the night before we boarded the train that unless our suitcase weighed less than 17lbs/8kg, we wouldn't be able to take it on the train.
Before purchasing the tickets to Machu Picchu, we asked whether we could see the Inca Bridge with the guided tour, and we were told that we could if we arrived at Machu Picchu early before the tour began. However, we later discovered that since the tour commenced at 7 am, there was no opportunity to visit the Inca Bridge. Fortunately, including Circuit 2 with the Inca Bridge didn't incur any additional costs.
While Nixon and his team were responsive and made efforts to assist us, they seemed to overlook crucial information that significantly impacted our itinerary and expectations. we hope they recognize the importance of conveying these key points correctly to foreign visitors exploring Peru.

I booked several trips with Mega Expeditions in May 2024. I didn't make it easy for them as I was 'winging it' and booked trips last minute. Pablo helped me with all the arrangements. I booked Lake Titicaca/Machu Picchu and Vinacunca through them. They (Pablo and Nixon) were always available, seemingly at any time of day and were frequently checking on me to make sure I was doing alright and asking if I needed any help during the trips. I also stuck with them since there wasn't any hard selling going on. Overall, a very good experience.

Nixon and his team gone above and beyond to provide excellent service. I booked the ticket at last minute which does not gurranty entry to macchu picchu. But Nixon had a zoom call with me prior to arrival to Peru and adviced me how to maximise the chance to get the ticket. From arranging train and bus tickets to providing an excellent hotel in Aguas Calientes everything went as planned and I got my ticket for the next day's Circuit 1 guided tour. He always kept in contact via WhatsApp and made sure I was ok and everything was going as planned. Everything was so well organised and I highly recommend this agency for your booking to Macchu Picchu or any trip.

The best option!!!, they have an excellent service, they are attentive all the time by WhatsApp, they comply with the schedules and the services offered, if you do not have virtual tickets you can try to get them in person.

This was definitely one of the most memorable tours my cousins and I had and we thank Mega Expeditions for that. From start to finish we felt well taken care of. They gave us a good breakdown of our journey and what to expect/bring well in advance and even the day before we departed. They were also only a quick WhatsApp message or call away if we had any issues or questions.
We also really appreciated the occasional messages asking if we reached certain checkpoints along our tour. So it really felt like they held our hands along the way.
Couldn't ask for a better experience and would highly recommend.

Our tour to Machu Picchu was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all expectations. The journey to Machu Picchu was seamless, thanks to Nixon and the organization of his team. Mega expeditions was highly responsive and ready to answer any of our questions. We had such a great experience! I would highly recommend!

I highly recommend the 2-day tour of the Sacred Valley by van, train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, hostel in Aguas Calientes, visit to Machu Picchu and return by train and van to Cusco. I would like to congratulate Nixon from the agency and all the guides he appointed. It was an unforgettable tour. My wife was sick for a few days because of the altitude and Nixon was super attentive, arranging for us to stay on the way back from Machu Picchu for a few more hours at the Hostel until it was time to return by train from Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival in Cusco, they even provided us with a taxi to the hotel at no cost.
