Our starting point is also the only "real" old town of Berlin. But how old is it actually, especially having a war with rain of bombs in mind?

I made the mistake of booking through Tripadvisor which was $6.50 Euros more than booking directly with Free Berlin.
In addition the guide barely got through have of the listed stops on the Trip Advisory Listed Tour. He spent too much time talking and keeping us for much longer than the list suggested. We didn't go to Hitler's Bunker or Check Point Charlie.

Simon was excellent. He was great with addressing questions, personable and safe. He showed and explain to us the geography of the city with the wall and influence made on East vs West Berlin. Also included historical impact on the Jews in Germany.

A lovely outfit - so glad I did the digging online to book with this independent small company. Simon our guide was outstanding. He was truly bilingual with faultless English and he struck just the right balance between facts, stories and historical context. A solid ride on solid bikes - really illuminating. Big recommend.

Great experience all-around. Our guide (I'm terrible with names but it might have been Tilman?) was excellent in providing detailed and unique information; great demeanor and very engaging at every stop.

I'd visited Berlin before and felt I knew a bit about the city's history, but I learned a ton thanks to this tour.

Bikes were in great shape, including for someone my size (203cm) and my tall teenagers.

The only thing I wish had been included were additional stops at the Reichstag, which we passed nearby, and Checkpoint Charlie.

Nevertheless, highly recommend!

I appreciated that the tour was in English. I liked how we broke it up in segments and learned a bit of history. It made it more meaningful to see the wall’s death field when it was being covered. We were asked questions about topics (I think to gauge how much to cover). I believe everyone in our group learned something. The ride itself was great. Our guide did an excellent job of keeping us all together.
