Fabulous guide, Italo? Took our family of four on a very interesting and informative tour.
Our teenagers are studying classics and learnt a lot. Found the site much more interesting than Pompei.

The guide was absolutely amazing. He is an archeologist that had actually worked on site. He explained everything in detail . We would never have understood everything without his comments. Totally worth having a guide!

Ginevra had arranged for the two of us to participate in a small (max 14 people) guided tour of Herculaneum. The guide – Loretta – was an excellent guide, her enthusiasm and explanations made us feel as if we were walking in a living city.

Our tour of Herculaneum was spectacular! Ancient ruins that are largely intact and easy to visualize how they looked centuries ago. Our guide, Loretta, was fantastic. She was enthusiastic, knowledgable and totally professional: she really made the site come to life. We learned so much while having a lot of fun.

We researched available tours for Herculaneum and were really pleased with our choice. Our guide knew the site and history extraordinarily well and we now have wonderful memories of a very full day. Even though the private tour was a tad expensive, it was well worth it and our guide, Roberta, was brilliant. She knew her subject and delivered it with real passion. It was a delightful and insightful day. I would thoroughly recommend this tour if you are interested in the detail of the Roman civilization and if you are assigned Roberta, you will have a most enjoyable and entertaining day.
