My group had a good experience with our walking tour. Our guide GianMarco Maggolini was very nice, knowledgeable and provided an excellent tour. He just has to remember to look back more often for slower walkers and carry a flag or something especially when we are in crowds. This was still a 5 star experience!

Venice is not that big and if you did your homework and downloaded a walking tour map, you could walk it yourself and not need a guide. However, I am a bit lazy so having a guide was worth it. The guide did show us the best pizza in Venice.

Daisy was a very knowledgeable guide. Took us to backstreets and shared the interesting history of Venice. We did stroll through the touristy areas too, so a good balance, but the back street stuff was best. Good value for the cost

We had the best time in Venice, stayed at the best spot in great little Hotel Belle Arti near the Academia Bridge. Alessandro Trabucco was the best local guide. He is passionate about his city. He got us to get all our entry tickets to the Basilica and Doges Palace from Australia before we left. That was best thing we did when we saw the crowds. Alessandro got us to front of queues as we were only 2 with him. He got staff to let us access lifts where we could. Then we had an enjoyable prosecco with him. Have no hesitation in telling everyone to use him while in Venice. We will be back again one day soon.

Great guide with deep knowledge (Phd in history come on). Authentic walk to places not otherwise known to visitors. If you are aiming at St Marks and Doge Palace or Bridge of Sigh that are known to everyone, you are in the wrong group. But if you want something authentic, this is it.

Daisy was late showing up and had to wait additional 15 minutes once she did show. Daisy spent more time at fish market than Rialto Bridge. It was a boring 7th grade history class with no time for pics. She just ran through the Rialto Bridge and thru the middle, so not even a chance to see the water. She said at the beginning of the tour that she was a PhD, or a useless doctor. She was right.
