The German House of Parliament, and infamous due to the fire that enabled Hitler to take total control. It was fought over during the Battle of Berlin between the Germans and the Soviets, and now topped with a glass copula designed by British architect Sir Norman Foster.

The royal entrance to Berlin of the Hohenzollern family and one of 18 former city gates . It survived Napoleon, WWII and then was trapped in the middle of the Berlin Wall for almost 30 years. A former symbol of division, today "The Gate" stands as a symbol of a reunified Germany.

This massive site covered with stone stelae is the central Germany memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust.

Currently a parking lot with a simple sign The location where Hitler spent his final days, married, and then committed suicide during the final days of WWII in Europe.

First known as Frederick’s Forum, after Prussia's Frederick the Great, it is now home to the Humboldt University, the Opera House, the Royal Library, and Hedwig’s Cathedral. It was also infamously the site of the Nazi book burnings on May 10, 1933.

The tour was good -- not exceptional and it was disappointing that it was only 3 hours not the 4 hours advertised; plus the tour guide showed up late. Also, the description suggests that there is flexibility on where to start, but they actually want you to start at a specific location. It would have been easier if they had just made that clear to begin with.

The tour was good but it is advertised as being 4 hours but actually it is only 3 hours. The list of things that will be visited did not correspond to the actual tour.

James is personable, and brings his incredible knowledge to life. He is easy to follow, points out other small areas of interest that would be easily overlooked on your own. James also easily adapted our tour as we missed our start time due to being at the wrong address. Highly recommend James

Sarah was our guide and she was great. She met us at our hotel and took us to all the best spots in Berlin. Highly recommend as you get personal attention and not some giant tourist trap tour.

James brought the city and it's history alive. He is highly knowledgeable and added in interesting side stories you can't get from any travel guide. He is passionate about his craft of informing in an intriguing and interesting way. When the tour was over my wife and I could only say "Wow" that was great. Highly recommend James and his informative way of storytelling.
