The arrangement was good and the tour guide was very helpful , fluent in English.However the main tour agent should make the tour more flexible in time for special assistance person.

Firstly this was an amazing tour, the local guide was brilliant.
However there were a few issues which prevented 5 stars. Firstly this was advertised as a 10 hour tour but in reality started 1 hour earlier and was due to end 3 hours later than stated on the booking. This was only communicated to me at 7pm the evening before too late to change other travel arrangements. Also transfer from hotel to Inca Rail office never arrived but hotel found taxi for me. To be honest the issues including the return train breaking down did not ruin an amazing experience but could distress a more nervous traveller.

I had an unforgettable experience on my day trip to Machu Picchu!
I arrived in Cusco a little worried about the income from Machu Picchu but after doing a little research I contacted this company and they gave me very clear information to visit which circuit to visit the citadel of Machu Picchu.
I want to express my deep gratitude for the treatment they offered me from start to finish, especially to Mary who monitored my entire tour by phone, also to the Machu Picchu guide for her enormous information and the transportation service was very friendly.
Thank you for the professionalism you gave me and the best treatment!

The car driver did not show up for drop off which was part of the schedule.
The tour company send WhatsApp message saying ‘we will take a train’ ‘we will take a van’ - there was nobody from the company at the bus station and train station - I had to deal with that on my own.
The tour lasted only 2.5 hours.
The tour guide had broken English and was hard to understand.
The data that tour guide provided were very basic - you can learn more about Machu Picchu by watching a short YouTube video.
The trip is also way overpriced - you can go around main square in Cusco there are main travel agencies and tours cost $220.

What a great experience working with this tour operator.
Even though it’s early start, 4:30 am, it was all worth it. It started with a minibus ride to a train station where we took a train to Macchu Pichu town, then from there another minibus ride to the top of the mountain and get amazed by the Macchu Pichu ruins. Our tour guide Jorge (“George”) made the visit even better. Jorge was awesome, not only giving all the facts about the history of the site but also showing photos representing the original site settings, etc. Jorge also helped our group with our individual photos and telling us the best locations for them.

Such a great experience! Happy Gringo tours went out of their way to make this a perfect experience for us! I really can’t say enough great things about them!! Pickup was prompt, safe. Itinerary was accurate and the tour guide at Machu Pichu was excellent!

I never went on the tour and am still waiting for a refund. The one day tour I was told could not be done and would require me to stay the night in Agua calientes. I had to call the tour company to find anything out the day before and no one contacted me to confirm pick up or explain anything. I tried several times and eventually was told that what I purchased could not be honored. Since I was short on time I could not do a two day excursion.
