Bratislava is one of the oldest Celtic towns, the boarder of the Roman empire, the western bulwark of the Hungarian Kingdom, the last marine port of the Danube during the Middle Ages, the town of merchants and craftsmen with rich vineculture tradition, and the Coronation town of Hungarian Kings for more than 200 years. The atmospheric cobble stone Old Town is packed with beautiful houses built between the 14-18th century. The charming old City Hall is one of the oldest in Europe. The Bishop Palace with the mirror rooms is the gem of the city. DUring the day you can taste Slovakian dishes and beer as well. Discover Bratislava with a private guide on a one day trip from Budapest!

Nelli knew how to show us Budapest from its best side. Food tour first in the market hall and then in the whole city. You could feel that she was welcome everywhere and you could try to your heart's content. She took us to places where tourists don't normally go, culturally, historically and culinary. And - what is very important - gypsy music is simply part of it. If you go to Budapest, then only with Nelli - her commitment and presence are simply great.

I am not sure if this was the company through which we booked, but our guide Tamas was excellent door to door for 11 hours.

Definitely a worth while experience. We loved spending the day in Bratislava with our guides. We got great history lessons and enjoyed some wonderful soup cups downtown. Great little day trip from Budapest with professional guides. You will enjoy the day.
