Experience the samurai experience in a museum-like place with lots of armor on display!
You will choose your favorite kimono and hakama, change into a samurai costume, and learn how to use a sword from a samurai.
You will learn how to draw a sword, hold a sword, swing a sword, and retract a sword. After learning basic sword usage, they practice a simple chambara (sword fight).
Then we will try to exterminate bad guys to the music! You can take videos with your smart phone, take pictures with the samurai, and have a great samurai time.
The teachers are authentic teachers who have appeared in major Japanese dramas and movies.
Since you have come all the way to Japan on a trip, you will have a wonderful experience of Samurai culture!
The dojo has many weapons on display, including swords and spears. You will also find armor on display. Samurais are waiting for you in a space that does not seem modern.

My family really enjoyed it! They did demos and then we dressed up and got to try it. They made lots of videos and photos for us on our phone

We had a great experience. The instructors were very friendly and showed passion. They tough us movements with clear step by step instructions and we got to use those moments against the instructors. I felt like a true Samurai.

We had the best time! We were here with our three teenage sons and it can be tricky to keep them entertained. They were smiling the whole time and we had a blast! Excellent teachers who were patient, funny, and made the experience memorable. 10/10 recommend!!

This is one of the best experience I got in Tokyo. My daughter also joined me and she was extremely happy to have experienced this form of an art. We learned the basic techniques in a very fun way. The team who helped us learn was simply amazing. God bless them they were such an amazing host. We got plenty of opportunity to take photos and videos. This is once in life time opportunity.
Our host/trainers were Hayato Mori and Motonari Sagara. We would like to give 10 star rating to them is possible.
Guys any one in Tokyo dont miss this as you wont get this experience in your country.

The class was led by two leaders who did a great job demonstrating a set of samurai movements and then, step by step, teaching the participants the routine. Each participant got to have a one on one experience. Our teenage boys loved the samurai clothes and had fun with a new martial art.

This was so much fun. They dressed you in traditional samurai clothes and instructed you on some basic techniques.
In the end we incorporated them all into one choreographed routine.
A pure blast of fun. Would recommend to anyone.
