On this private guided tour, you will discover the Cai Rang floating market, a colourful, buzzing market with hundreds of boat vendors selling fruits, vegetables & hot food from sunrise to late morning. And you will have a chance to savour a locally styled breakfast, a bowl of noodle soup.
After the floating market we will take you to another city (My tho and Ben tre) for another boat tour. You will walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music and join daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. During this second boat trip, you will visit the bee house, and take the picture of the pythons. Lunch will be served in the orchard garden.
Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by the shadow of the water coconut’s trees before returning to Saigon.

We liked the tour very much. All was organised last minute with contact found on TripAdvisor. We arrange private tour with pick up from the airport going straight to delta Mekong and drop off hotel Saigon city centre at the evening. Everything, from payment, contact and time keeping very well organised and recommended. Very reliable. Our guide, Jens, very well prepared, giving a lot of informations about life of people in Saigon, language, kitchen etc so drive to destination wasn't boring at. Very good lunch, excellent trip, big comfortable car, great driver. Don't hesitate to use operator. You will have a fun with Jens and learn a lot the same time 😊

We did the tour with Jens and we really enjoyed seeing the different aspects of daily Vietnamese life on the Mekong Delta. Jens thoroughly explained what we were seeing, who we were meeting...and what we were tasting!
I'm not really a fan of boat transfers, but the guide and the drivers have been really kind in making sure everything was safe. Definitely recommended if you stay in Saigon.

This is our first time visit Vietnam, HCMC. It was our pleasure have meet Jens as our tour guide for the day tour of the Mekong Delta Tour. He has rich knowledge and gave advance info to places on our next visit and he speaks fluent English too. He looks after us well as in a group and he is patiently introduce to us each places visited. We headed out from Saigon early in the morning and had a full day of adventures. Jens the guide was energetic and knowledgeable, fluent in english and with a positive attitude. We had many transitions throughout the day between cars, boats, tuktuk and row boats and Jens made sure it was all seamlessly easy and fun. Kids had great time despite the overbearing heat and there were plenty of available WC and refreshment stops during the day. Tour itself was a very informative sampler of rural life in the area and was complemented by explanations and demonstrations from Jens.
I would personally suggest to avoid the large groups and add extra for private tour if travelling with kids.
Great experience and highly recommended, thanks Jens 🪷
