Great chance to explore the unique monuments of Istanbul. The Old City 'Sultanahmet' having the same name of the Blue Mosque. You will cover four most famous sights in the Old City. This is a walking tour of old city, there is no chance to use a car between the monuments as they are very close to each other 4- 8 minutes

We had “Hero” on our tour and he was upbeat and very knowledgeable. He kept us moving at good pace and customized the tour to what we were interested in. The only part I didn’t care for was they carpet store as I felt badgered for an extended period of time.

We had a wonderful time exploring Old Town Istanbul with our personal guide! Eda was fun and very knowledgeable. We were able to see a lot in 6 hours. So much easier than trying to see everything with a large group!

Our guide Kenan was excellent. Amusing entertaining and informative he took great care of us. He adapted his schedule to suit us. He arranged for the taxi to take my husband home early because of mobility issues. He couldn’t have been better. He absolutely made our visit. Thank you Kenan.

Our tour guide Musa made this experience 5 stars. He helped bring the buildings to life with his knowledge. We had older kids on the tour that needed a break, so he helped us with an unscheduled 15 minute refreshment break in the shade after the first 2 hours of walking. Also, we wanted to do the underground cistern, which wasn't on the tour. He obliged and included it on our tour. Since a 5ish hour walking tour is long.....we also scheduled a 45 minute lunch into the tour. Musa gave us a few choices and we chose a restaurant with a roof top seating area overlooking the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia with views of the rivers as well. We paid for his lunch and gave us a chance to talk and learn more about Istanbul and the culture here. The food was actually really good and added to the experience. Our tour ended up being a little over 8 hours with Musa but "time flies when you are having fun". Would recommend this tour to anyone and hope you get Musa as your guide!

What a fantastic day we had with Billur! She picked us up directly from our hotel and took us through the old city, giving us the lay of the land before entering any of the sites. Then we visited the blue mosque, the Haggia Sofia, and the Roman Cisterns. In all places Billur was able to provide wonderful history and BONUS got us through the lines so quickly because she is an official tour guide and gets preferred entrance- that alone was worth the cost of the tour! After the cisterns we went to a great local place for lunch. After, because the Topkapi palace was closed (we went on a Tuesday), we went to Dolmbace palace instead. We told Billur she didn't have to come with us as it wasn't on the schedule. Not only did she come, she worked her magic to get us through the line (though, Heads up, this doesn't offer the same expedited entry the other sites did). Billur gave us a wonderful tour of the palace (at a quick pace, too, as our kids were starting to crash) and managed to make this hot and long tour fun and interesting. This tour was worth every penny and Billur made our trip to Istanbul very special, especially for our 9 and 10 year old children. She was wonderful with them...thank you!
