The guide David was sensational. His passion and knowledge of the area was fabulous. It was the best day, a pleasant drive through amazing countryside, the gorgeous monastery, black Madonna, markets and then the spectacular funicular and hike down. Just loved it soooo much!

The tour was so great. I wish I could remember the guides name. He was so nice, informative and always made sure we didn't get lost😉. Can't say enough about how impressed we were with the monserrat area. Thank you for making our trip so interesting

We were expecting a tour bus situation with a large group, instead we had a van that held a max of 8 guests and we only had 6. Our guide, James, was fantastic. We enjoyed learning about both the monastery and the surrounding parklands and had a nice hike down from the funicular drop off point.

Tour organised an easy meeting point . Our guide Alan was friendly , fun and knowledgeable. The van was very good with working AC. Alan drove safely.
A 0800 start meant we arrived, to a fairly quiet Montserrat. Definitely a bonus.
Fun in the funicular up the very steep mountain . Followed by a very pleasant walk downhill , with spectacular views.
Followed by 45 mins to wander around or find a quick lunch , before heading back at 1pm .
A great day .

James was a fabulous guide and had so many insights into the Catalan culture. The views alone are spectacular, but the additional knowledge he shared made it a five star experience. I would call the hike down moderate, not easy. We were fine. So fun!!

Such a great experience! The church is beautiful and we learned a lot from our guide. The hike was perfect, not too difficult. My only complaint is that we didn’t actually go on the cable cars… I thought that was a bit misleading. Instead you take a little lift up to the hiking spot.
