Montserrat Monastery with Easy Hike & Sitges Tour from Barcelona

Both places are very different from each other. Personally I liked Sitges. It was kind of refreshing after been in very touristic Barcelona. The monastery has excellent views and it was quiet interesting. The tour guide was informative and kind. He did an excellent job.

James was a great guide and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. Montserrat was scenic and we were given time to enjoy ourselves. It was fascinating to go to Sitges after as it was so different.

Was able to attend the 11am mass at the Basilica. Our guide Alan was very pleasant and accommodating.

What a 5 star experience. Our tour guide James was amazing. He provided a wealth of information while allowing time to enjoy the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this tour. A great break from the big city.

David was a great guide, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and so friendly. It was a great day and one I would highly recommend for being two very different but interesting places, both rich with history. Hike is not difficult, but it is uphill, so be prepared. Amazing views and photo opportunities.

Our guide, David was amazing! He knew a lot about Montserrat and Sitges, and he was so enthusiastic to share what he knows. He was very kind and pleasant to make us feel very welcomed. He knows all the hidden spots, what to look for, what to try (at the market) etc. David make the whole day very special experience. David let us freely choose a restaurant to eat lunch at Sitges, which was great. Because another day trip we took from different company to Girona, the guide took us to a not too good restaurant.

This is an excellent day trip with small groups so that you get a lot of information and attention from the guide. I had been to Montserrat numerous times, but never to Sitges. I liked the pairing of this trip a lot. I traveled solo, but the group was so small that I quickly made friends. Our guide, Alan, was a great guide with an incredible sense of humor and a deep love of nature. He was so good that as he was giving explanations, two times people in our group stopped to ask him questions. This shows how much he loves his job and his expertise. I really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.

I would easily recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys short hikes and loves nature. Our tour guide, Alan, was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and safety conscious. In case you are thinking of brining a little one, our 4-year old managed to walk up and down the trail (but we did have a compact stroller for when she got tired). We went in late February and the beach weather at Sitges was great, though I wouldn’t dare go for a swim.

It was an amazing trip! James was really kind he made sure to explain all the details about the place. The views made the hike even better and more enjoyable🏃🏽‍♀️.
I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Barcelona you will never regret it.
