Your guide will lead you through the amazing galleries housing one of the most important art collections of the world. During your tour you will discover the Galleries of the Maps, Tapestries and Candelabra and the masterpiece of Michelangelo: The Sistine Chapel. At the end of your tour, enter the Basilica with our skip the line access (if option selected).
You will learn about the Renaissance painters: Michelangelo & Raphael and their rivalry throughout their lives.

Note: we do not give access to the Basilica on tours after 2:30 PM, on Wednesdays, and on closing days set by the Vatican.

• PLEASE NOTE: We are not responsable if St Peter's Basilica is closed for religious functions or for the decision of the Pope.

Please note that in the afternoon the door connecting the Basilica and the Vatican Museum is closed and you are aware that by purchasing this tour you will not have the skip the line passage for St. Peter’s Basilica. You can go to the Basilica on your own entering from the main square.

Way too crowded. Way too hot. Impossible not to feel suffocated and overwhelmed. Our guide had a very thick accent and was talking very loud, and I gave up listening to her half way through.

Great tour and we didn't have to queue. Very informative and entertaining tour guide. Slightly annoyed that I wore long trousers to not show my knees but there were lots of people in shorts. The Sistine Chapel was also supposed to be silent but was the noisiest part of the tour.

I arrived half an hour before the arranged time of the tour to check in with no rush, only to find out that the tour will actually start 1 HOUR later. So me and my partner had to spend an hour and a half just walking around the tour office with nothing to do! No one cared to explain why the tour will start 1h later or bothered to sent a message to warn us about the change.

Anyways, one hour later we commence heading towards the Vatican where we wait even more time for our he guide to arrive who has nothing to do with the tour company but is simply a Vatican tour guide. The guide was nice but frankly extremely boring either stating the obvious like I can’t read signs or explaining things in too much detail which was unnecessary in my opinion. When I simply asked her how long will it take us to reach the Sistine Chapel, she was extremely rude saying that the tour is 2h and we will get there when we get there.

To top this off, we didn’t see the Basilica with the tour guide saying we need another ticket to get there but that was not true as we had paid for it. No I see that apparently you can’t see the Basilica if your ticket is an afternoon one.

Tour guide was too hard to understand and too fast. She did not leave much time for questions and was physically too fast could not see too much.

Great guided tour. The meting location is easy to find, just few steps from the Vatican museum entrance. The guide was great and provided great information. I highly recommend this tour. Also, you get to skip the long lines to get tickets, which during the summer months can be up to 4 hours long.
