Max, Eduardo, and Jose made the trip a great experience for my family. The conditions weren't perfect but they did a great job making sure we all had a great time and enjoyed the experience. Special thank you to Capi for keeping an eye on all of us!

Milena was our guide for the snorkeling trip and she was awesome!! She was so knowledgeable about all of the different fish and sea life that we saw. The captain of the boat was awesome and took us out to chileno bay and ANOTHER great spot that I can’t remember the name of. Milena took really amazing videos and pictures of my boyfriend, his family and I. They gave us snacks and water and made sure we were safe and comfortable! 10/10 recommend East Cape Explorers for your next excursion trip in San Jose Del Cabo!

A good day with Cape Explorers. Made to feel very welcome with a friendly and enthusiastic greeting. These are deeper dives, and the approach is appropriately more serious. Deeper, but, not difficult, don’t be put off. Unfortunately our viz wasn’t great, but, that can’t be helped, a few days before (& probably, a few days after) it’s was good. Gordo #1 was better for us, but, Gordo #2 promises just as much. Thanks to Capi, the whale watching dog, we did see Whales, dolphins turtles on our surface interval. This is a good operation with great staff and Good captain (& his mate). The vis is in the hands of the diving gods!

The tour was so much fun! We enjoyed every single minute of it. Thanks James for making it so interesting and informative. We were so incredibly lucky and managed to see whales, dolphins, devil rays, sea lions, and turtles. Totally worth it.

James was an excellent tour guide! He was professional, informative, and was genuinely enthusiastic about providing the best experience for the guests. One of the best in the business. He even took our small group to a newly discovered (to him) hidden cove that was like an aquarium of tropical fish. We had the place to ourselves. Great tour!

We did the snorkel tour with Yitka as our guide and it exceeded all of our expectations. She was knowledgeable and went out of her way to get some amazing photos of us and the fish!

What a memorable morning on the water with East Cape Explorers! Max and Eric did a great job of making sure our group, comprised of different parties of all ages and levels of experience, had a great time. Max, our guide, did a great job of leading us to the best spots and capturing what we saw on his GoPro. Eric, the captain, kept scanning the water for whales and once he spotted some, he got the boat just close enough for us to watch them for as long as we liked. The equipment was great and the free underwater photos and videos at the end was a nice bonus. This tour was not only great fun, but a good value too. Exceeded expectations.

Max (tour guide) and Eric (boat captain) were fabulous. We went on the 9am snorkeling tour which we booked 2 days before after doing the whale watching tour with amazing Rosie and Ruben. This company is very professional, equipment is well maintained and good quality. Easy to tell everyone loves their job and San Jose del Cabo. We saw whales on both trips and a mobile ray jumping. On the snorkeling at zacatitos we saw lots of colorful fish including 3 types of puffa fish, parrot fish, school of jacks and the turtle. We were greeted back at marina by a sea lion. Just magical. Thank you east cape explorers for making our first trip to San Jose del Cabo one to remember. See you next year!

What a memorable morning! East Cape Explorers make snorkeling totally easy. They give you everything you need and whatever you brought that you don’t need, you can store at their dive shop. Mac was our guide and Erik was our captain. Both went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time. I forgot to take my seasickness meds and was super queasy. They made sure I was ok, and I never felt bad about slowing down the group. I was just able to jump back in when I was ready. Erik was looking for whales the whole time, so when we happened upon some, he was ready and got us to a great viewing spot. When different people wanted to do different things, Max made a plan so all needs were met. As a bonus, he takes pictures and videos which he shares with you for free. Everyone in our group had a great time and went home happy. Very well priced for everything you get.
