Pompeii is a vast archaeological site, it is so large that you can easily get lost inside. The site is constantly evolving thanks to the continuous excavations that offer new discoveries every year.A professional private guide is highly recommended to be able to visit it in detail in relaxation in its most important structures. The guide is on request, stop for 2 hours. The Cantine del Vesuvio, located on the low hills of the volcano, offer a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples. The program is structured with a guided tour within the 4 hectares of the winery close to the archaeological site of Pompeii, among historical testimonies, vineyards and elegant structures of the cellar. The tour ends with a tasting of varied wines and a traditional Neapolitan menu of dishes inspired by ancient Rome. Such a fun and easy was to visit Pompeii on your way to Praiano! Our flight was delayed and our driver and Pompeii tour guide were very accommodating with the delay. Highly recommend!

Our private transfer from Praiano to Naples Centrale via Pompeii worked out perfectly! Our driver picked us up from our hotel in Praiano at the time we chose (8:45am), and drove to Pompeii where we met our archeological guide for a 2hr tour ( the timing was perfectly coordinated ) . Our Pompeii tour guide was worth every penny, sharing her enthusiasm and incredible knowledge of Roman history with us, while our driver kept our luggage in the car and waited for us. We would never have found our own way through Pompeii or seen so much in 2hrs ! We left Pompeii at midday then stopped briefly near the Naples train station for pizza and our driver returned with our luggage. We were in plenty of time to catch our train to Rome at 2:10pm. This company were great to communicate with by email before we left home and also when in Italy. It was great use of time to see Pompeii en route to Naples/Rome and I can highly recommend this company- reliable and a well coordinated transfer with tour guide.

Driver went out of his way to assist us with all aspects of our journey from Naples to Positano via Pompeii. The tour guide arranged for us was outstanding at Pompeii and we would have never had that experience in a large group. I would recommend this service.

Book the private transfer! Vincenzo picked us up, took us to our tour in Pompei and waited for us. Then he took us the scenic route to our b&b on the amalfi coast. highly recommend! He stopped for us to take pictures along the way

We had a wonderful experience with Vincenzo! He was on time, the car was beautiful and clean, and he was able to answer all of our questions and more.
