We took the Authentic Real Mekong Delta to Ben Tre tour from Saigon River Tour in April and it was everything we hoped it would be. I really wanted to see and experience the Mekong Delta during our visit to Vietnam. We could have taken one of the many land-based excursions but then we would have been trapped in a van for several hours each way. Instead, we choose the Saigon River Tour and we are so glad we did. We met the boat at the pier in District 1, which was very close to our hotel. Our guide, Rambo, welcomed us on board and we were off down the Saigon River. Rambo told us much about what we were passing as we made our way downriver. He was very knowledgeable about Saigon, the history and what we were looking at. We were absolutely blown away by the amount of boat traffic on the Saigon River and then on the Mekong when we got there. And it made it so much better to be on the river ourselves and be part of the water highway. The excursion on Unicorn Island gave us a nice introduction into life on the Mekong Delta. The tour included a lunch that was unbelievable! So many good foods and so many choices! Then we settled in for the two hour return on the river. And the entire time we just took in the wild adventure that is life on the rivers of Vietnam.

We can highly recommend this boat cruise. Everything was well organized and fastest way to go to Ben Tre :) our guide Rambo was one of the best we experienced in Vietnam!!!

I highly recommend the Mekong Delta speedboat tour! We were lucky to be the first booking in two years and it was amazing. Sunny was an incredible tour guide. They picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the marina where we boarded the speedboat for a local market outside of Saigon. The speedboat driver was fantastic -- I can't think of a better or faster way to make it down to the Mekong Delta. The next stop was to an island where we sampled local honey, jumped on a small paddle boat and drifted through the quiet jungle river, walked thru the village and took a tuk-tuk truck to the coconut kingdom where we got to sample coconut delights, before being transported to an amazing lunch location. Overall the day was exciting. My friends and I could not stop talking about it for days after the trip. We thank Sunny for being such a great host and for being an expert on everything we wanted to know. If you are reading this far -- you must book this trip in Saigon/HCMC. The speedboat alone is worth the trip. Thank you, Sunny!

Just finished this trip with the wonderful tour guide Demi and her "proprietary IP" pre-made tourbook to answer all our silly questions :-)
Really lovely place in the coconut island (Bến Tre) as target, the 8 hour trip was around half speedboating and half walking and listening to local flora and fauna encyclopedia D.M. The actual final destination with a few restaurants with live music show and a sort of mini wildlife reserve is a bit of a touristy place, but in reasonably good taste. Due to our not-so-dear friend Corona it was not that crowded so felt familiar to us small group of nordic country citizens.
Looots of fresh fruit were provided by the organizers and eaten, most of it super yummy. At the final venue trying that snake rice wine as well as holding a python were fun times. Lunch was quite good and plentiful with 7 different warm foods.
Sad about the rampant littering all around the Mekong delta and near river shores in general, but otherwise it was near perfect as the area has truly beautiful nature.
So huge thanks Saigon River Tour and guide Demi for a marvellous day, highly recommended!

We had great tour, experience authentic things, driving through Mekong delta with speedboat...we tried authentic food, had great 7 course lunch, listened to authentic vietnamese songs, been driven through small canals of Mekong Delta, visited coconut farm, saw friendly phython, saw farm of crocodiles, been driven with authentic "lamborghini", probably I forgot something...😊 So many things in one tour! Our guide (Demi) was excellent!

Today we had a nice day with Sofie. high praise to Sofie and her friendly nature and commitment! Great! we had a lot of fun on our tour and it explained a lot to us. The boat was clean and the life jackets were new. the food for lunch exelent. a great day tour.
