Spend 1 whole day with a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter touring on a bus around the popular Mt. Fuji/Kawaguchiko area. Also visit the Arakurayama Sengen Park, popular on SNS sites in Japan and around the world, located halfway up Mt. Fuji, a registered World Heritage Site. Climb up 398 steps and behold the Chureito Pagoda, the symbol of Sengen Park. The scenery of the Chureito Pagoda with Mt. Fuji towering beyond in the background is just like postcard.
A Japanese-style or Vegetarian meal will be served for lunch, depending on the option you book. You can choose boarding location from Tokyo Station Marunouchi South Exit/Entrance Hato Bus boarding area or Shinjuku Station East Exit Hato Bus boarding area. The tour will end at each locations (same as departing station).

Normally we don't do this type of tour and prefer to go on our own, but in this case the Hato Bus tour proved to be an excellent experience. Very well organized, both at the stops and at lunch itself. The guide Kumiko is excellent and goes far beyond what would be expected, talking a lot about aspects of Japan and giving a real lesson about Japanese culture and local daily life.
Congratulations on the organization!
As for the Mt Fuji region, it is truly beautiful and worth a visit.

Our tour guide Atushi was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about Japanese history, and made the bus ride enjoyable.

The tour was overall great. Our tour guide Mr. Atsushi did excellent. He's well-versed in English, good Japan history-teller and amazing singer too...
The lunch buffet at Prince hotel near lake Ashi is simply the best. Of course the sights we went to are breathtaking.
Hato Tours is highly-recommended!

We managed to catch quite good view of Mt. Fuji inspite of rather cloudy skies. The lunch provided was excellent...much better than we expected.
The guide Ume was cheerful, friendly and knowlegeable.
Pick-up location was fairly easy to find.

The views were really nice! The tour guide was very funny and explained everything really well. I enjoyed it despite not being able to see the tip of Mount Fuji (due to the weather).

The trip was awesome. The host Aki was the best host ever and I have taken many bus trips in many different countries. She engaged us thoroughly with her stories, her singing and her sweet and polite behavior. The views were amazing. And lastly the traditional food provided as part of the trip was a very delicious meal.

The tour guide is knowledgeable and friendly. The tour route made 4 stops (including the surprisingly good traditional Japanese lunch.) help us better understand the Mt.Fuji and Japanese culture. Definitely a must-go place for the foreigners.

The bus was comfortable and clean. Our driver very experienced. Saiki our guide was knowledgeable about Mt Fuji and gave us good general information about Japan too. Fuji-san was kind enough to show herself to us which topped off a great adventure
