Our wonderful guide Leo (Leonina) was fabulous, she took us to some great local tapas/restaurants. Food and drinks plentiful and the group of 8 were good fun with lots of laughter.

I was excited about this tour as my dinner treat to myself traveling alone in Porto. It exceeded my expectations. Our guide "Garret" was wonderful, personable. knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. I loved the locations, and Garret's personable relationship with the restaurants was evident. I enjoyed all the course offerings with our first stop being my favorite. My least favorite being the canned fish and pate'. That is just a personal taste preference and does not reflect on the vendor. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to dig a little deeper into Porto's history and cultural
heritage through food.

Great introduction to Porto and Portuguese food scene with lots to eat and drink, I went back to Conga the next day to have full portions of the soup and bifana! The group was great, and the best part of the tour was the guide Leo.
I have done almost 30 food tours, and this went to the top 5. My previous experience with Eating Europe was not a full success, but I’m glad I gave them a second chance.

We got home too late … drank too much … ate too much … walked a bit … laughed a lot with 7 random strangers … stopped and looked at loads of Porto we’d walked past and not “seen” and overall had a great night!! ♥️

The tour was a deception, paying euro 90, for a gastronomic tour raises expectations. However vino verde from jerrycan, table wine without name, a mini beer, eating burger with basic pig meat, a dry francesina,, canned sardines and a bacalao croquet - all without gastronomic explanation. Lucky enough we could order a real nice desert on last restaurant and own cost…..
