Elene was truly the best guide we have ever had. She explains the history in a very funny, original and interesting way using many examples, paralels so the presentation is more a pleasant experience than a factual memorising as the history presentations usually are. Thanks to this experience that actually worked much more with emotions (the right hemosphere, opposite to the facts, which are the domain of the left hemisphere), we were, paradoxical, able to memorize and remember much more! Elene is just a great, funny, original and unique guide! More over, her English and pronunciation are excellent and understandable! Many thanks 🙏

Paola did an amazing job guiding us through these two historic buildings! We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Venetian art and history. The beauty of the Church and palace are unmatched. I couldn’t imagine coming to the city and not going inside these two buildings. Paola was knowledgeable and always willing to answer our questions. Best guide ever!

We chose the 11:20 tour of the Doge's Palace on May 18, 2024, for sheer personal convenience, but it turned out to be a very fortunate happenstance. I identified the trip with particularity because we both forgot our guide's name, but not because she was forgetable. She was definitely not. She was knowledgeable about her subject and presented that information in a way that was engaging, at times humorous and personalized. She was always ready to stop the presentation to answer an individual’s questions in a way that was never rude or demeaning. In order words, she never made the questioner feel silly or foolish for asking the question. In our opinion, the guide makes or breaks a tour and our's definitely made our tour a 5 star success. Thank you from the Americans, Bob and Bert.

Ilaria, our guide was interesting and pleasant. However, Tiqets advertises a one-hour tour (in the Venice pass), which actually lasts 40 minutes. Also we rushed through the museum as the guide only stopped for the bronze horses. It is, once we were on our own, that we realized that the museum counted several rooms! So make sure you stay in the basilica once the tour ends.
