Be one of the first visitors to reach the Christ the Redeemer statue, the most famous landmark in Rio de Janeiro, on top of the Corcovado Hill, without the usual crowd early in the morning.

After the pick-up we will start the tour from Copacabana Beach, one of the most famous beach in the world.

Botafogo is a beachfront neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro. It is a mostly upper middle class and small commerce community, and is located between the hills of Mundo Novo, Dona Marta (which separates it from Laranjeiras) and São João (which separates it from Copacabana).

Only in case of poor visibility on the summit of the Corcovado, we will make an alternative stop at Mirante Dona Marta which offers one of the most incredible views of the city, guaranteeing the title of one of the most visited tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro. From there, you can see the Sugar Loaf Mountain, the Cristo Redentor, the Maracanã, the Guanabara Bay and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

The tour is very good since for the price it is very good, the guide explains everything with ease and is very complete in historical content, he also answers any more questions you may have and tells you extra information that is very curious, thanks to the guide Gabo and the driver Voldemor (if you are going to see macaques).

The drive up to see Christ the Redeemer was an unexpected bonus. Peter, our guide, was first class. We were a small group, but we gelled well, thanks to his approach. His knowledge was great and his sense of humour entertained us.
Would love to come back and do another tour.

We chose this tour for the timing. Getting there early gave us a chance to take some great pics before the crowds arrive. Peter (our guide) and Voldemort (our driver) were superb companions. Met us at our pick up point right on time and provided great service for the duration of the tour.
Peter has a great sense of humor and uses it while sharing information on the city and sights.
To not visit this Wonder of the Modern World is like visiting Cairo and not visiting the pyramids. It’s a must do in our book and Carioca Tropical made it so easy. We didn’t wait in lines for the cable cars. With Peter we just breezed through like VIPs. He knew the best spots for photography (a big plus for us, personally).
I’m sure it’s possible to make your way up the mountain solo, but this tour definitely added value to our visit.

Peter was amazing. Very informative, polite and made sure we were getting the experience we wanted. I would suggest paying the extra for all of the entrance fees. Peter is friendly and knows all of the best spots to stand and get the best pictures. He has a lot of knowledge about places he is speaking about as well as recommendations. I would go on this tour again.

When short on time, this tour is perfect. It leaves early (7am) getting there before the crowds and you are finished by 11am.
