The Rainbow Kayak and Hike tour was a great experience! My guide, Reid, was very friendly and shared lots of history along the way. Swimming in the waterfall pool was refreshing after the hike. Highly recommended!

Just be prepared the kayaking is taft I would do it again even though it was really hard for me

My husband and I had a great time. We are both in our 60's, but had no trouble keeping up. My husband is very experienced with a canoe, so the kayak wasn't much different. I love to hike and climb. The hike had a few tricky spots, but we were fine. Allen was our guide and he did a great job. He made sure we were all informed before leaving and kept the group together. He was very kind and patient. We did have a very good group of people. The waterfall was spectacular! What a beautiful experience.

This was an adventure for sure. The kayaking part was rigorous, as well as the mile hike to the falls, but we did it, and we felt good for the accomplishment. The falls are incredible! Be sure to wear water/reef shoes on this trip. Some folks had high end sneakers which were pretty trashed at the end because we were walking through water etc. The suggestions for this tour said no crocs, yet people wore them and regretted it. Alan, our guide, was kind, thoughtful and very knowledgeable about plant life and the island in general. We recommend this tour for people in good physical shape.

We had an amazing time on the river with beautiful scenery and the hike to the waterfall was perfect! Our guide Reid was super helpful, informative and kind. We learned and saw a lot on this trip!

We had a fabulous time with Thomas as our guide! He was very attentive to everyone in our group and made a point to engage everyone in the highlights of Hawaiian culture, history and current issues/events on the island of Kauai.
From kayaking up the river to the hike to the waterfall, he made us aware of our surroundings and the “little things” that would go completely unnoticed unless he pointed them out.
The excursion itself is an absolutely wonderful and relaxing little trip to spend half a day.
Highly recommend, and going in the am is a must! Getting Thomas for a guide is a bonus!!! Maholo Thomas!!!

Awesome day filled with excitement! The whole experience was top notch. Our guide, Shay, was excellent. Very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and a great sense of humor. Kayaking on the river was great, the hike was through beautiful woods and the waterfall was breathtaking. Would Do it again and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Thomas the guide was so polite and definitely entertaining to my grandkids. The excursion was worth every penny. The kayak was beautiful the hike beautiful and the water fall so fun to play in. He prepared a beautiful lunch with a surprise.
