Excellent tour. From the hotel pickup to the return drop off, this was a great experience. Had the opportunity to step back in time to see an ancient Roman colony, well preserved through expert architecture that is still utilized today, 20 centuries later.
Sasa was our tour guide. His passion came through in his explanations and made sure each tour participant was comfortable.

Our tour guide Frankie did a fantastic job. He was very informative and provided us with a lot of history behind Pompeii - he also had a very positive and upbeat attitude, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The tour guide, Francesco, was excellent. He was full of good information that he mixed with humor. He is an asset to your organization!!
Also… my driver, Donatello (sp?) was very good. The main highway to Pompeii was closed so we had to take the scenic route which was crowded and the road was very narrow at times. Donatello was always calm; he never got agitated, and he’s an excellent driver.

An abbreviated day touring Pompei. Sasa our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor as well. We very much enjoyed him and our entire trip from Positano to Pompei. We saw all the “highlights” of Pompei with a great guide and skipped the lines. The van transfer was comfortable and on time as well. Top notch! Highly recommend if you don’t want to spend all day in Pompei.

We had Sasa as a guide! Sasa was energetic and incredibly informative without losing anyone’s attention. He was aware of larger groups and made sure the experience wasn’t altered by them.
We would highly recommend Sasa as a guide and hope to return and dive deeper with another guided tour with Sasa someday!

Amazing tour go in the morning with pick up right from hotel. Francesco was great, very engaging and showed us everything before the crowds got crazy. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour guide was delightful, but the tour itself focused primarily on brothels and men's private parts. It would have been more enjoyable if it included a broader range of informative content. This tour is not appropriate for children.

TLDR; pickup @ 7:45am, air conditioned Mercedes, Tour guide was amazing, pompeii entrance by shops and toilets.
Picked up @ 7:45am, confirmed with a WhatsApp message the night before. If you’re worried you can message via the Viator app a day or two before.
The driver was great, vehicle was a fully air conditioned Mercedes people carrier/van. Shared with another 6 people (8 total).
Journey was as you’d expect at that time, busy but took no more than 1 hour to get to pompeii.
Greeted by Sasa the tour guide at one of the entrances to the Pompeii area. This was by some shops, restaurant, toilets, etc. You had time to use these before the tour.
Sass was amazing as a guide. Extremely knowledge, tbh his father and grandfather use to do tour guides so it runs in the family! As we passed each guide they all knew Sasa and honestly everyone said he’s the best in the business.
We could have easily stayed for longer but due to a lack of time, this tour time was ideal for us to at least get a flavour of Pompeii and its history. I have noticed people’s reviews complain about the tour length but you chose 2hrs so what do you expect?! If you want longer then pay for a longer tour, this has nothing to do with the quality of the tour and shouldn’t impact your rating!
I’d definitely book Sasa, maybe directly next time but easily for a longer tour just because there’s so much you could learn from him.
