Really enjoyed the Prague in a day tour. It was great for getting our bearings and knowing where all the best parts where. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone not fit for a lot off walking.

Our guide not only spoke in two languages, she meticulously went through all of the details at every stop. After the bus tour, we proceeded with a 3 hour walking tour of Prague. Highly recommended.

Viator should reconsider its endorsement of this tour. Those of us who arrived on time were kept waiting for over 15 minutes because the providers were trying to fill the small, crowded noisy bus, which they did. There was no apology for the late start and the guide just jumped right in with rote memorization of things to say in two languages. During our time on the bus we rode by attractions so quickly that one could barely see them let alone take a picture. The guide was not unpleasant but also not charming or endearing to say the least. We left at first opportunity and were very glad we did.

Our guide was Sophia and we were fortunate to be in a small group tour which allowed for lots of questions and in-depth answers. The tour was a combination of air-conditioned coach and walking. We drove through much of the old and new city and heard stories about the building origins and the Czech experience. The walking part of the tour began at the Prague Palace which is actually a huge palace complex. Our tickets did not include entry into the buildings but did allow us to see many of the larger palaces and learn about the history of the families. We walked down from the Palace with great river and city views. We crossed the Charles bridge and learned about the statues lining either side, some old, some reproductions. Ending in front of the Astronomical Clock with an explanation of the workings of same was fun especially since it was 1:00 and all the parts started moving! It was a good way to learn about this magical city.

This was my third guided tour I've taken while on my solo trip to Europe, and it was the one I enjoyed the least. The weather wasn't very favorable, so that could have played a part of my view of things but I should have read the reviews more closely before I booked this tour. The biggest complaint I have is that this tour is multi-ligual. Although I choose English, there was also another maguage mixed in which makes it a bit difficult to follow.

The first hour is by van, which will speedily head to Prauge Castle. During the ride the guide will talk about various places as you get a quick glance at them while you speed on ahead. Again, since the tour was not English only, I found my mind wondering and unfocused. Once you arrive to Prauge Castle, then the walking part of the tour begins. The majority of the time will be focused here. Yes, the place is huge and requires time, but that could be done on your own time as I HIGHLY recommend that if you're going to go through the trek of getting in there, you should be also buying tickets to see the many parts of the place.

After the castle, we spent abiut another hour walking toward Prague Square, and ended at the Astronomical Clock. The entire tour was about three hours. Honestly, I don't think I followed anything the guide said. When the tour was done I raced back to Prague Castle so I can really enjoy what it has to offer (it was not going to be open the next day and that was my last full day in Prague).

What I recommend is a good tour book or something to follow on your smartphone. Many sites are within close proximity to each other and walking around is a breeze. And the city's public transportation network is not bad, although a bit crowded.

I do not blame the guide for the shortcomings. This is how the tour was designed and it's how he has to do it. I've had similar tours which were cheaper and included many more highlights. Honestly, I think I'm done with taking these tours. The hassle of getting to them just for an underwhelming experience is disheartening. With smartphones, being able to explore on your own is very easy.

We drove around in a van for an hour and couldn't really see anything until we got out and walked around. The guide seemed very disinterested in what he was doing and saying. Once we got out the van and walked around, the scenery was of course wonderful, but he talked so fast and quiet through it all, that I'm not sure anyone could hear him most of the time and our group was less than 10 so it wasn't a crowd issue. My suggestions would be to 1) have a better vehicle that we can actually see out of, and 2) Get a much happier guide with a microphone.

It is a complete lie that you see the Jewish quarter! You sit on a van for an hour and drive so fast you can't take a photo or even see what the guide is talking about! The guide spoke so quietly no one could hear him the whole time! He took us to the castle but we went in the afternoon and there was no line anyone. Everything you could pay to do and see we skipped. The whole tour was people over 60 years old except me. It was an awful waste of time and money and I learned nothing because the guide was terrible!

this was a partial coach, partial walking tour. the first part, in the coach, seemed to be kind of rushed through. i'm not sure if i missed anything or not. the second part, though, the walking tour around the castle and back in to town was very well done, with an affable Peter? and knowledgeable guide.

Not recommended.  We were only in Prague for two days and were looking to maximize our time, so we booked this tour figuring we would get to see and learn a lot.  However, when we got on the bus of Prague Sightseeing they started speaking half in English and half in Spanish. Our ticket AND Viator receipt says "Tour Language: English".  I would have never booked a bilingual tour with this limited amount of time and thought I was purchasing the full amount of time in English.. Anyway, we and the other passangers that thought they were on the an "English" tour tried to talk to the Guide who was very, very rude to our party and the other passangers who were misled as to what this tour was.  We asked what happened because, as I said, all our information, says "English tour".  I figured there was a miscommunication and we were on the wrong bus.  However, both Prague Sightseeing and Viator said the website doesn't say " English ONLY" tour and that other languages can be spoken.  I feel misled and after wasting our time getting to the tour and discussing with Viator we got a response saying "While we understand your disappointment, please understand that they operate the tour in English however it may be operated by a multi-lingual guide as well.“. Which also misrepresents the real situation....its not that our guide is multi-lingual (that's great!), it is that the tour is done in multiple languages.  In fact this company does not offer an English only tour at all. I truly believe they need to update the description of what you are buying on this website and brochure. For example.  If I bought a black sweater online and I got sent a yellow and black sweater instead, I would return it for being wrong.  I would not expect the company to justify the order saying that the description didn't say 'black ONLY" and "did mention that there were other colors available".

if you first time to prague like it was for us, this is a must for your first day, you on a minibus for an hour and then 2 hours walking, bring a drink with you and not much time for toilet trips, you do and see so much it is worth doing it as it helps you for the next few days when looking on your own
