The Bonstetten cultural group would like to thank the St. Gallen-Bodensee tourist office!!
The tours of the old town, the cathedral and the abbey library were very interesting and explained very well and in a very friendly manner by Ms. Dommann and Ms. Walker. Thank you very much and big praise to both of you!
I would personally love to do it again, but I would plan a lot more time. There is still so much to discover and experience.

Thank you very much, also on behalf of the Bonstetten cultural group :)

Mrs Dommann guided us through the city, the cathedral and the library in a knowledgeable, understandable and very friendly manner. We would definitely recommend this tour. @ Mrs Dommann, we will come back to check whether St. Gallen is really as beautiful without rain as it is on your umbrella! Best wishes T and

We booked the tour of the old town / cathedral / abbey library. Ms Bredull gave us an excellent tour and took us on an extremely exciting journey through time. Thanks to her enormous knowledge, we really enjoyed the tour and found out and learned a lot about the city and the abbey district in an hour and a half. Tours are fun like that, many thanks to Ms Bredull for this wonderful experience.
We can only recommend St.Gallen Tourism, we were received and advised in a friendly and very professional manner.
We would be happy to go again

The group should be linguistically separated and smaller in number. Each location should be reconnoitred in advance with regard to environmental noise. Top notch in terms of expertise.

The city is beautiful. The tour of the old town is a little short (one hour) for this reason. But it was very interesting and gave me that local insight I needed. I had booked in English but they put me in the German group because there was only me for English. I think this circumstance should be noted when purchasing the ticket online. They explain that there is a minimum to form a group. but I didn't know that the 10 already sold places that appeared to me were for German and that only I was there for English. They explained things to me briefly at the end, but it's not the same. More work for our guide and more difficulty. In any case, Ursula is to be thanked for her efforts. Another thing to keep in mind is that the explanations are made in Swiss German... in case you know anything about Hochdeutsch, you won't find out 😁But hey, if you come with a little background you will find out everything. The medieval history of St Gallen is the most interesting, apart from the trade, of course. Impressive how well cared for it is and how sensitive it is when rebuilding, knowing that the city burned several times and the oldest houses that remain are from the 26th century.
